Sorry Kira, I don't know, I know it was before this April but and since 2007 but other than that I'm not sure, had a quick google but can't find anything.
Result. DH is at the chippy :-DDDDDDDBump due 22nd September0 -
lol squeaks ftw lol
my mothers partner's surname is bates so there used to be a few issues when mail came for the kids and was adressed officially.
my new surname will be a boys name so i need to try and make sure it will fit in with that and my sister (seriously i am sure she did it just to annoy me) her stepkids have the two girls names that i loved so now i am back to square one however for a boy i like edward, but then oh says its too old fassioned, i am liking harry at the moment but i think it will be quite common because of harry potter, i want something original but useable.
lilly, who is four, wants the baby to be called fairy twinkerbell or toffie pie because she loves them both (i cried at that, hormonal old woman)0 -
I knew there would be at least 1 geek here
Edward is a nice traditional Royalist name.. and not over-used.. my grandad was Edward he got called Ted. How about Henry instead of Harry?
There are predicted LOADS of Williams this year..
OHs mum wanted us to use John/Jonathon as a middle name.. for a boy obv.. as it is his dads name.. I said no outright.. far too dull .. so she whinged.. but OH doesnt like it either! lol We have briefly discussed using his grandmothers or grandfathers names as middle names (Ruth and Nicoh.. he was Nicholas but I vetod that as it was my nephews name who was killed in a motorbike accident a couple of years ago aged 21) .. well.. it wasnt discussed I asked if he would like to and he shrugged...
My grandparents names dont work with OHs surname... way too many EEEEEEEEEEEes.. and they aint good!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I love Edward, it makes me think of very polite little boys, then Eddie as a kind teenager and adult, and back to Edward for a gentle Grandad.
I know.. I'm strange.Bump due 22nd September0 -
You don't have to send your MATB1 in with your formal notice of requesting maternity leave. You can submit the MATB1 at anytime. You won't receive any maternity pay until they receive it though. Don't think any employer would be too sticky regarding the 15 weeks notice as some woman dont know they are pregnant till late in the pregnancy, plus babies can arrive early.
Doctors can give you a MATB1, it certainly doesn't have to be a midwife.First Baby born January 2007
