Urgh stop talking about takeaways - I swear it's making the heartburn worse! *Off to the fridge I go for more milk!*

Now Charlotte I really like Hayley!

Perhaps we could get married? At least then we could decide on a name.

Just cross posted about 10 posts!
Kira - where I work used to have that as the maternity policy, but have changed it since the law changed. (I work for a county council so you would've expected them to get it right without being prompted!) They don't actually have alot of say in it because the government is in charge of your Stat Maternity Leave, and reimburses employers with the pay.

Thanks Hayley. I'd been looking all the Direct.gov stuff up just before you just posted and came to the same conclusion that our work policy is old and crud (45k+ employees, its like trying to turn a cruise ship getting things altered here!). Somewhat ironically, our work maternity pages actually contain a link to the Direct.gov info you gave which says any day! I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what they say, but it will be like swimming upstream against a storm tide getting one of them to say i can do anything against company policy, and i'm no salmon!

Claire don't come on here teasing me with those bargains :p!!! I saw the thread on grabbit. I can't find them in any local store and really want a carrier. Did however manage to order the mobile online the other day. Hope you and baby are doing well though! xx

Hi Kandboys, could you please do me a massive favour and stick a yellow ? after my name? We're team yellow and have had my 20 week scan so won't be finding out the flavour until D-day!

Oh and I know I'm being *really* picky but can you take the extra 'a' out of my name? I know I'm just being fussy!

    Thanks!!

  • Ah, everyone is talking about takeaways, you are making me hungry, lol. I had home made macaroni cheese, but think hubby is treating me to a takeaway at weekend, yum!

ohh yum macaroni, i would most definatley be sick but wow i am loving the sound of macaroni right now

my kebab, that had chips and cheese in it, made me sick alot so now i will end up with toast again, i am going to turn into a piece of toast its the only thing i can keep down

ohh i love the name Daisy, Daisy May, altho the only guidance i have been given is no more o's or L's because we have lauren, oliviaanne, lilly and aparently it would not be fair because there names already spell out lol (wasnt deliberate) to be honest tho, if thats all OH has to worry about a week before our wedding then extra kudos to him.
