Ok so having been tearful all day I've now got such a cobb on!! Fed up of DH dismissing my anxieties and worries. I tell him I'm tired he tells me off for not having an iron tablet every day. I tell him I'm worried about the baby he tells me to stop being so stupid. I just don't feel he takes my concerns seriously. Probably cos he doesn't like drama and he doesn't want to think of anything bad happening. But it comes over like he doesn't give a you know what!

He sounds like my chap... his annoying staying is "dont start again on that stupid rubbish" everytime i get upset, annoyed, jealous about anything! i do admit i sometimes need a kick up the !!! but sometimes i need a shoulder to cry on

Sometimes you just want them to listen to your concerns, let you cry on their shoulder and tell you all is going to be ok. Not 'stop being so silly'. Men grrrrrrr!!

Please can someone tell me what braxton hicks are like? I dont think I have ever really had them properly but am wondering if I am having them now. I am 36+3 and keep having sharp pains down my side, but it seems to be on the left hand side rather than all the way across.

With mine my bump will just go tight, and sometimes later on take my breath away (not in a good way lol)

For me BHs are like tightenings. My whole bump goes rock hard and sometimes I get period type pains. Not sure why you would be getting them just on the left hand side Flower. Are they painful? x

Just spoken to mum. She spoke to her consultant today, and she has been told she needs an extra op before the big one due to the extent of the problem, to remove a lymph node under the arm for checks- 5 days in hospital after that. She was quite upset by the news . She has decided she wants to have one last "normal" holiday before the ops begin, and has cleared it with her consultant. I managed to cheer her up though, as i have told her i will take my and DH off, and give her and her sort of blokey my staff perks for 6 months, including my free management ticket, which means they can fly in business class to Barbados and back together for the holiday. I'm just happy i managed to do something to make her feel a bit better.

I wouldnt say its really painful, not exactly comfortable, but not agony. Baby is moving around loads, but its not him kicking causing it though.

That's great Kira! I'm sure she'll have a fabulous time.

Is it a constant pain Flower?

I told DH my back hurts, my pelvis hurts and my head hurts. He said let's say that you are in pain unless you tell me otherwise! Helpful eh?!
