Morning all,
Got all excited last night from 9:30 - 10:30 i started having big cramps again, getting closer and closer together but not increasing in pain, then by the time OH and i decided it might be it and we should start writing it down everything stopped lol.
I have been woken up with a couple of pains over night but nothing major and im thinking that this is just more of baby moving down and getting ready, i have no further instructions from anyone and my MW is now on holiday so have been told to just go to the drop in centre on Monday if Elvis doesnt arrive on the weekend.
Labour vibes to all the boldies and hope everyone has a good day today
Puzzled x0 -
I hate hairdressers. With a passion. I have yet to be in one that has decent magazines- all have take a break, hello, ok!, stuff like that. Why can't hairdressers buy Top Gear Magazine? or Focus? Even Autotrader.....
So I made DH a bet- to cut my hair. Dared him to literally shear it. Thinking, he's wimp out and only trim it. It feels so short this morning- he took up the challenge and lopped 7 inches off my hair! It looks great, and after he'd finished fussing and styling it as well, I realised I've married Edward Scissorhands (without the leather trousers, more's the pity). So I returned the favour and gave him a buzzcut.
:rotfl: you make me laugh lirin, i hate going to the hairdressers too, most of them round here are awfully dim, all you get is are you going on holiday this year??? without being rude i just want them to cut my hair
I would never trust OH to cut my hair tho, i would end up with a short, back and laughed at
My OH goes to the barbers every 3 weeks, if i`m feeling brave i will go to the hair dressers once a year i bl00dy hate it lol
12 days overdue now!!!!! roll on tomorrow i hope they have room for me lol i cant ring till 3pm!
labour vibes to the boldies (mainly me)
I hope we all have a nice day ladies0 -

Morning all :-)
Lirin, hair sounds great! I've just booked myself a cut colour and blow dry through groupon - I bet that'dbe your idea of hell?!
Puzzled, sorry Elvis isn't here yet! Fingers Crossed.
Lozzy, hope they have a bed for you, if not perhaps you could offer to take an airbed with you?
Pigpen and Elmo, well done on removing the nail varnish. I wish I could get mine off :-(
Lisa, Sorry you've been having pains, good luck for your scan. If you have any doubts go to your midwife/gp/hospital and get yourself checked out.
I had a fabulous sleep last night :-) from 9.30 til 7.30 with a pee at 3.30! I feel amazing. I can't remember the last time I managed 6 hours without peeing!
Hope everyone has a good day, and some of these babies think about putting in an appearance (mine included!)
xxBump due 22nd September0 -
Yup... That would be hell! Lozzy, you're right, it's the small talk that I can't stand. Mainly because the hairdressers near me ask a question, and never wait for the answer!
Pigpen and Elmo- I'll lend you DSD. She gets the occasional job like that. Though I still have flexibility- I can still chew my own toenails if I wanted to! (Though I have no idea why I'd ever want to do that!)0 -

i`m off to run up and down the stairs a few times to wake the mutts up me and DD are bored and would like to take them on a walk
I got a phone call yesterday of DD nusery that she will be joining once she 3 (on the 26th) they wanted me to come in on the 12th to fill in forms and things so have told them i`m about to drop a baby, the lady was very nice and said once hes out and i`m feeling up to it i can give them a ring and re-arrange, then i can get her a start date :cool:0 -
Im at the hairdressers next week! Cant wait. I have very long hair, which i grew in order to have long curls at our wedding. Now it needs to go. Im so sick of it, it just ends up in a pony tail every day. So ive asked for it cutting shorter, with just enough length to be able to tie it up when im having a cant be bothered day. Its going to be a huge change. Hubby will be shocked when he gets home in 2 weeks. Cant decide whether to tell him ive done it or just wait til he sees he at the airport!
Woke up feeling not too bad, but have been up on my feet for less than half an hour, have an aching in my pelvis and a sharp shooting pain in my left arm. Not sure if the arm pain is because ive been laid on it overnight. Its annoying though. I think this is the start of the pregnancy aches and pains.:jProud mummy to a beautiful baby girl born 22/12/11 :j0 -
i'm still here, i'm still waiting, NOTHING is going on at all, i'm having a sweep today, dont see the point cos i know it wont work, i'm only going to get out the house for an hour, i'm off back to my corner to sulk nowSkint, but happy (ish):p0

Paranoia ......
After all the tests yesterday they have given me a whole list of things to think about and now im finding myself over analising everything to see if i am suddenly ill or something is wrong with Elvis ... sometimes too much knowledge in my brain is dangerous - am just repeating in my head that the blood tests were fine and therefore baby is all ok ...
Have got lots of little bits to do today so am going to try and keep busy, have already sorted out the finances, coal delivery, physio appointments and got the 2nd load of washing in the machine, need to do the floors throughout the house and ironing as well so if that doesnt keep me busy and possibly bring on labour nothing will lol
Sorry, shutting up, waffling ...0
