hi, having a browse, so thougth i'd post.
Staying up a bit so dh can get to sleep, as he says i snore real bad n keep waking him up, there again i have woke myself up with it too, think i'm aware of it coz he keeps telling me, not that i can help it tho, not normally a snorer.
36 weeks tomoz, need the 4 weeks to get the bedrooms finished before bump makes an apperance.
Got the plasterer back in this Saturday to do our room, need it to dry out, then paint & carpet, so we can move back into our room, so the 2 lo can share the back room which has just been done, then get a fresh coat of paint on the small room ready for the baby till it sleeps through then it will be sharing with one of the others.
Worked it out this am that if i go 2 weeks ova which is the norm for me, I will be due just in time for the kids october holiday, so that should be fun.0 -

That's good that your oh seems to he taking more of an interest pp
We have been at antenatal class this evening. There was another girl in the group who was due the same week as me but she gave birth on Saturday! We went for our hospital tour on Saturday and I was sure I had seen her at the hospital so it looks like it was her after all!
I also found out today a girl I know who was due the week before me had her baby a week ago. Both first babies! Better make sure my hospital bag is packed just in case...
I've felt pretty rubbish todaymy back has been so sore and painful and I've had a bit of a cold too so not feeling the best. Going to go to bed now and try and get comfy. I'm meeting a friend tomorrow morning so will be up early. OH is fitting the carpet in the nursery tomorrow and I have my 36 week appointment but it's with the doctor again so a bit of a busy day planned
Hope all ladies and bumps are doing wellxxx

Oh God!! Been awake since 1.45am and got work in the morning :eek:0

I'm still awake and seriously p'd off now. I've had toast and hot chocolate, been back to bed, couldn't sleep, tried reading, still couldn't sleep, got up and did some stretches, back to bed and still couldn't sleep, so I've got back up and had a good cry. I just feel stressed now because I felt like carp at work yesterday due to lack of sleep and now I'm going to feel even worse today. It's a vicious circle, the more stressed I feel about not sleeping then the less likely I am to sleep, and now I'm at the point where my heart is pounding, I'm crying and feel really anxious. I've been off for 5 weeks because of the back pain and resulting lack of sleep and I've only been back one day so I'd feel like a complete !!!!!! ringing in sick. I am so tired0

Unfortunately for me, these symptoms did point to an ectopic pregnancy even though the doctor who examined me (externally) said he didn't think it was (it turned out the baby had implanted right at the top of my tube, close to my ovary so not easy to feel). I had brown/pink blood and cramps which developed into extremely painful cramps later that evening. To be honest, once they'd passed a few hours later, I didn't have much in the way of pain, but I did continue to bleed slightly (it was a darker colour, not bright red). I also just felt 'wrong', I'm generally quite a negative person anyway, but I just knew there was something not right. This happened on the Thursday and I was scanned on the Monday. Are you getting any shoulder pain or pain when going to the loo? These are typical signs of an ectopic pregnancy however I must say I didn't experience them. If you have any questions about ectopic pregnancy please ask, if I can help I will. It's good you're having a scan on Monday, that should help rule it out as a viable pregnancy will be visible by 7 weeks. Good luck xxx
Thanks for sharing your experience. My pain only lasted about 20 minutes and the worst bit was less than 10. My bleeding was only very light spotting and since it all happened on Wed evening I've only had the teeniest bit of brown tinged CM when I wipe occasionally. I've not had any shoulder pain or pain when going to the loo either. I'm feeling alot better about things now but am very keen to get my scan on Monday so I know one way or the other!0 -
45 days at work left also, WW! (I'm not counting weekends....) Are we the same person? My boss told me today he was almost scared to talk to me yestarday because I got no sleep and was grumpy. I was mainly just trying to stay out of people's way though, so I'm sorry I made him feel bad!
Pigpen, glad your OH is getting interested, you deserve some attention!
Flower, I've no idea what BH are supposed to be like, but mine is a tight bruised feeling along the top of my bump- mainly more on my right side (handy that, side I broke ribs on....). It comes and goes and seems to last a couple of hours in total, every few minutes relaxing a bit....
I hate hairdressers. With a passion. I have yet to be in one that has decent magazines- all have take a break, hello, ok!, stuff like that. Why can't hairdressers buy Top Gear Magazine? or Focus? Even Autotrader.....
So I made DH a bet- to cut my hair. Dared him to literally shear it. Thinking, he's wimp out and only trim it. It feels so short this morning- he took up the challenge and lopped 7 inches off my hair! It looks great, and after he'd finished fussing and styling it as well, I realised I've married Edward Scissorhands (without the leather trousers, more's the pity). So I returned the favour and gave him a buzzcut.
We also tried the domestic thing lately- and cooked properly! We made two chicken pies, one with peas and carrots and gravy filling, one with brocolli, sweetcorn and a white sauce. DH even got inventive and placed pastry hearts on top.... And- they're edible! They taste really good!
Oh wow, sorry. Didn't realise I'd written a book....0 -
Hi Ladies, I'm just over from<12 weeks again with a question. Have any of you had implantation cramps and/or bleeding at 6ish weeks? I'm 6+5 (I think) and last night had terrible cramps (made me dizzy, clammy, felt sick) followed by a small amount of spotting (which was pinky brown). I've also had a tiny amount of brown spotting this morning. As the cramps were so bad DH took me to the out of hours GP (at our A&E) who said he was pretty sure it wasn't an ectopic, could be an early sign of a miscarriage but was most likely implantation!! I did say I thought it was a bit late for that but he assured me not. Mr google has found me quite a few other people who've been told the same thing at a similar stage and one site (babycentre I think) said it can happen anytime within the first trimester.
Just interested to know if any of you have experienced similar.
ALso, as the cramps and bleeding happened pretty much together is it likely that they are not related due to the blood being brown, therefore old? I've had similar cramps before (we weren't even TTCing then so not related) but that was ermmm my digestive system playing up shall we say!! I am a little bloated and windy (sorry for tmi!) atm so I wonder if the cramps were related to that and the spotting was a coincidence.
I guess it could be anything really!
I have an early scan on Monday so hopefully I'll know more then.
Thanks guys xx
Hello, just wanted to reply to this before i go back to lurking!
In both of my pregnancies i have had terrible implantation pains-i had them for a week or two at the begining then it eased off to cramping/aching feeling. By 12 weeks it had gone though. I felt really ill with it to be honest, in my first pregnancy I almost passed out in the bathroom and even took some painkillers as i thought my period was coming. This time around i didn't pass out but was doubled over in pain (like severe period pains along with feeling clammy, lightheaded and sick).
I hope everything goes well for you, hopefully it is just implantation and we get to see a scan photo soon
