    Mornig Ladies

Just popping on really quickly as we dont have internet at new house yet.

Upstairs of new house is completely decorated now, started on downstairs yesterday but its taking me longer to get things done as its hurts to bend down or reach up! Taking it easy with a bit of glossing today and have 2 family members to help tomorrow so should have most of it done by the end of the week :D

Im 4th after the boldies now, just need peanut to stay in for a few more days, have sweep booked thursday afternoon, although DD is adamant baby is coming wednesday morn

Labour vibes to all that need them and hugs to everyone xx
Due 26th July, team yellow :D

Sorry haven't been about much! been hectic this end!

DD turn's the Big number 4 this week - I've already got her a party planned with her friends on saturday (Her cake for that has been made by some lady i know - it'll be amazing if it turns out ok!)

But we're having a family meal on Thursday for family so going to do a mini buffet and even attempt to cook my own cake! I can bake better than i can cook but i haven't done a birthday cake before so panicking slightly!

Here's one of my cakes for work:

A birthday cake cant be much more difficult . . .could it?!

Here's a bumpity bump pic for you - I'm now 24 weeks exactly

Heart burn has eased SOOO much. Thank you for all the tips!

For anyone struggling to find Mat clothes - Pumpkin Patch is AMAZING right now - I brought 2 tops there yesterday!

Has anyone found a NICE (Thats the key word!!) winter coat yet? My Mac isnt fitting me any more!

    Take care everyone x

Morning ladies :) hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I've been this morning and done the bank, post office and starbucks run, now I'm home and will probably have to nap by the time 1 o clock comes around. :o

Also ordered another steriliser, a lovely friend of my OH's parents had bought us the Tommee Tippee Electric one, but managed to get the complete starter set for £60 from Mothercare so going to leave the first at OH's parents I think :)

Mimi do a chocolate sponge, and cover with chocolate ganache, and stick some cadburys chocolate fingers around the outside, simple but effective, it's what I do for bday cakes :D tough if you don't like chocolate.

  • Mimi you're so slim!! Definitely nothing to worry about weight wise! Congratulations on viability too :) xx

Ohh - good luck! And Ecoelle!! Hope things getting moving for you!

Mimi - fab bump photo - here is mine at 38+1:

First day of maternity leave today (well, holiday for 2 weeks before ML kicks in) and am up at 7:10!! I have to nip into work today as didn't get everything done on Friday as someone let me down - hopefully will only be an hour and I'll finally be free. :D

Then off to the salon at 1pm - eyebrows threaded, shellac nails for hands and feet, leg, underarm and bikini wax... About time I had some pampering done!

Baby has been going crazy all weekend - constantly on the move - thought they were meant to quieten down before birth? When I wake at night for the loo too I have an achy bump - keep thinking "oooh, is this the start?" Think my bump might just be aching from the constant battering it's taking!! :) I've been getting random sharp foof pains though - I thought it was just baby pressing down further - not necessarily the start of labour?!

    xDx

I'll get DS to take a pic when I can drag my !!! out of the bed for you to compare....agree though, it is really bizarre! Are you still having the tightenings and the bits of show?

Yep.. and am feeling very .. dead is proably the right word.. yet the house is a skip and I cant sleep and I MUST tidy the hovel before environmental health close us down! lol...

I want it out.. right now.. I have REALLY had enough and have no idea how I am going to cope with school runs from Wednesday.. I cant even walk to the loo! I feel sick I hurt so much this morning..

OH keeps offering to help with the things I can actually do... but stuff like vacuuming and mopping and cleaning and washing which i cant he just stands and watches... I am getting REALLY pi55ed off with him.. (and everyone else in the word.. and everything)

What I wouldnt give for a shower right now.. I feel disgustingly filthy.. I havent had a shower since the end of July :(

Maybe I should add it to the argument list lol! She's trying to get me into see the consultant I saw with DS2 as she knows my history better than this guy I see now. Don't get me wrong, he's a lovely older Indian chap, but every time I go in he asks me why I had a c-section last time and why didn't they use ventouse, forceps etc! Err cos DS2 had the biggest head in the world and didn't even get into the birth canal!!!

I wouldnt let them try forceps or ventouse anyway.. have you seen the damage those instruments of torure can do?!

And def. add that argument to your list!

I'd gladly make cakes for everyone :o I love baking. It's the eating cakes that's not so good for me...

that is actually a myth!! And any noticable reduction in movement can be a sign something is not quite 100%..
