  • I WANT STRAWBERRY AND CREAM GATEAX! That cake looks amazing Mimi. I have an endless appetite today. 3 wheetabix for brekkie, and just had green soup and wheaten bread for lunch. Not sure what I'll eat at lunch time now:D

Back from seeing the Doctor for the first time in nearly 5 weeks. Baby is head down still, happy days, and is punching me rather than kicking me apparently. :D Also I seem to be swelling up, 3kg gain on last month, so have been ordered to put my feet up every afternoon. As DD is only in school till 12:15, this might be difficult! Really glad I took my ring off when I did. I can't even push in on over the knuckle now.

Lirin your DSD sounds a real treasure! Pigpen wish your OH would grow up! Blue, good luck living with your mum. Know I couldn't be in the same house as mine for more than a few hours. Keep the ear plugs or iPod handy.

Loving the bump pictures. Mine looks enormous from above, and not quite as bad sideways on.

    Good luck Ecolle and Bunnyhop!!!

Will he not even help you into the bath for a shower?

Nope.. I suggested it while DS1 was here.. so he was witness and I was just looked at like I was some kind of loony for even thinking it..

Sometimes so do I.. I just pretend to be grown up sometimes would be good.. or just less bone idle might help..

He is lovely on the whole.. just lazy! and unhelpful unless nagged the daylights out of :( and I am an ask once type of person then do it myself..

He has just been forced to bath Squeak though.. she tipped a bowl of cheerios on her head.. I picked them out of her hair and she ate them.. she is odd.. lol

    Hi everyone :hello:

Mmmmm coffee... It's costa I usually go to and I haven't had chance the entire holiday :(

School's back tomorrow and still no uniform  I have just sent them an email, asking exactly what they're going to do about it lol as the twins won't be happy going in non logo shirts the first day.

It's stupid as the PE kit is in the order... and no way am I going on 2 buses to the uniform shop in the pouring rain to buy stuff I already paid for once!!

I am so so tired today it's not even funny.

Twins bedroom is a tip and I've told them they're not coming down until it's done. All I can hear is crashing, banging and fighting though so I know it's not getting done *sigh*

Delain- do you have a dog?

DSD used to be told that her room would be inspected and if it was still messy, a chew-friendly Lab would be allowed to roam free and destroy anything on floor level- worked brilliantly!

Baby is moving fairly continually- never thought I'd say this, but I'd like it to stay still just for a little bit. Freaky feeling when Hitchhiker turns over is just.... weird.

I just had the girls vacuum their room too.. I didnt spend the beter part of £5000 getting the house sorted and their room decorated so they could trash it.. and boy do they know it! lol.. Dragon of the month me!.. DS2 is stressing because he cant find his tie for tomorrow so obviously I threw it away!!!.. I did actually put it in his drawer but if he is too stupid to look there I am not telling him where it is.. he is 16 in January so not a baby! the boys have alo been commanded to vacuum their room... so that might get done this century.. might!

I think I may take them for school shoes.. that should please OH.. I can take DD2 another time as she isnt here.. but I think getting these sorted is a priority.. unless OH just put squeak to bed.. no.. she is trolling about ..

  • I'm afraid I may have slapped him by now Piggers, think you deserve a medal for not resorting to violence! If I were closer I'd come over and yell at him on your behalf after putting you in the shower!

Quick question for the ladies that already have children - are you going to get a present for the older children "from the baby"? I think DS might be expecting something because KH bought him a bundle of stuff when they had theirs. Just interested in others opinions on this?

I don't mind hoovering it... in fact the hoover is still up there from when I did the landing yesterday, but it requires floor, floor currently being buried under mountains of crap.

Lirin no we don't have a dog. My mum has though so maybe I could borrow it :rotfl:

I'm annoyed actually because they woke Squeak up shouting in the bathroom, it's mostly tiled so quite echo-ey and it right next to my bedroom... If someone shouts in there you can hear it throughout the house and it's really loud from my room.

Mine never had anything from Squeak... But I was in hospital a week almost and tehy spent the whole week getting spoilt rotten at relative's houses, and it took me over a week to get them to calm down because they'd eaten loads of junk and been getting away with god knows what (the family seem to think I'm unkind apparently because I expect them to pick up their own mess and behave!)
