Yip, I'm a permanent zombie at the mo :eek:

We got our high chair in the Asda baby event yesterday, the Graco one which was £25 instead of £45. I know we won't be needing it for a while, but I'd rather get it now whilst I am on full wage than have to pay out next year on maternity pay. It's multi coloured so shall suit a boy or girl since we're team yellow. I thought I would just pull it out of the box and it would be all ready to go, but no it needs assembling, so it is now in bits on the dining room as I couldn't get it all back in the box!

Hope everyone is well this morning, i had a much better nights sleep, sorry to hear it's not been the same for a few of us. I am officially due tomorrow, my goodness, had a wobble last night where i suddenly realised i have no idea how to look after a baby, i think this may be a small problem:)

Hubby has gone off to work and i have strict instructions to call the moment anything happens. Last night i did have a lot of pain in the foo foo, really sharp and running from the bottom of my fooj up to the top? Weird feeling and painful, and baby i swear was trying to swim in there, i just don't see why Squid can't figure out that there is no longer room for all that nonsense and it's time to come out and play:rotfl:

Off for a long soak in the bath and then planning on watching ludicrous amounts of tv x x

I've been sourcing or swapping on freecycle and gumtree as much as I can- I briefly worked out the finances with maternity pay and it'll be tight, but hopefully not too bad. I've been scrimping like mad as well to put extra in savings just in case....

Might look at the Graco seat- it sounds a good deal.

Lirin how did you find anything on Freecycle, when I looked all I could find was people who wanted stuff, not who were giving it away? Is it a case of keeping your eye on it every day?

Well done Ecoelle lol, i've just had a chat with Elvis and have informed them that if they want to arrive early then they can from now on, only 10 days to go though til due date

Not sure about the foof pain, sorry, i had lots of braxton hicks last night, no pain whatsoever but lots of tightening across my stomach and Elvis really didn't seem to enjoy it lol as there was lots of wriggling after wards.

Highchairs - we have the chico clamp on version, was a bargain from ebay at £12 so we were mega chuffed, friends of ours have had one since their little one was 8 months and he is now 2 1/2 and its still going strong (and he is still under the 15kg weight limit)

Hope everyone had a good nights sleep last night, i managed to wake up just 3 times which is definately refreshing after the last few days, probably wont last but was nice all the same lol.

Morning all - hope PP is ok. I'm sure she's due about 2ish weeks before me so she must be around 34 weeks. Got growth scan and consultant today so we can see how big this one is getting. Can't believe we are in September already!!
