i am sooooo uncomfortable i could cry, not in a painful way, i think i am carrying ALL baby and stand or sit makes no difference, there is always some body part of baby squashing against my insides! i want her out now, got 3 days til i'm due but the thought of going another 10 days past that (which i did last time) really depresses me!
i know she'll only come when she's ready and theres really not alot i can do about it but by god i can moan!!!!!!
i know people are excited to meet her but i'm fed up of the calls, texts, writing on facebook asking if anythings happened, i am one miserable cow today.
I have the same - my baby has run out of room and squirms/prods my organs and ribs all day and night. I'm still at work as well as the baby hates me sitting at a desk all day long....
I feel your pain and I still have 18 days to go!!
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
Oh Twinkle, it won't be long.... I know all the calls and so on are irritating though. My mum is calling me daily and I'm only 27 weeks- DH doesn't believe me when I tell him past evidence from my sisters indicates this will increase to hourly in the last couple of weeks. I wish I was kidding, but I know my mother too well......0

you know what p*sses me off, when people say "let me know as soon as anything happens" er excuse me, i'll be a bit to pre occupied to sit down and text god knows how many people, i've even told my mother dont be surprised if you get a text and i'm already home with the baby
i wont tho, she is the 1st person i'll ring on the way to the hospital.
i've got quite an unusual thirst today, i just cant quench it, ive tested my blood sugar and thats fine so i dunno what it is, i'm going through coke and ice cubes like theres no tomorrow. i'm also bored stiff, school uniforms all ready, freezers full, washings all done, bags packed, house is clean and tidy, cot is up, pram is here,so it's just a waiting game.
i live right next to the beach and fancy a stroll down the prom but i can feel babys head really low and it's not too comfy so that idea is out, i could really do with digging out daughters bedroom but i think i'll have to leave it til she's not here, i put stuff in a rubbish bag, she takes it all out again!
so i'm gonna just doss and pray that baby arrives at least before school starts again, the thought of walking to and from school the way i feel is enough to make me want to jump off the pierSkint, but happy (ish):p0 -
Im just comparing bump pics.. I am smaller than I was about 6 weeks ago.. despite the fact the baby hasnt moved position at all in that time... most odd... I am also teeny tiny compared to how big I was with the others.. wil check pics from squeak
Oh.. mattress arrived for basket and it is so much better than the old one I feel like a cheapskate not replacing it fo Squeak now.

Bizarrely my nan doesn't seem to have noticed my bump... or at least she hasn't shouted at me about it yet lol and I'm sure she would be if she had noticed it.
I am 24 weeks today :jMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Congrats on viability delain, big fat (painless) labour vibes for all the boldies, im only 4 behind you now!!!!!!
Hope the aches and pains ease, Tramadol was a nightmare for me, 1 tablet before i went to bed and the next day i fell asleep standing up on the tube!!!
I was brave and went out to baby class this morning, was really good and i really enjoyed myself, makes me think that when Elvis makes an appearance i have somewhere to go i feel comfortable even if it is just once a week.
Just wondering, does anyone have a magic foot treatment? Mine are swollen (blood pressure is fine though) and i feel like my arches have collapsed becuase they really ache, i do walk a lot, but always have so dont think it is that alone but my feet do seem to be getting worse - OH was stressing about it last night but i wouldnt let him turn on the pc to google it lol.
Also, at the surestart this morning they were talking about a magic form that you can fill in to apply for child gates, fire guards and cupboard locks, the person who was telling me about it said that they thought it was only for people who are elegible for government assistance but the course leader was saying that they are availible to everyone becuase it is saving the NHS thousands by protecting kids etc - has anyone else heard about this and does anyone know how i would go about applying?
Puzzled x0
