    Morning all.

DH has been talking about changing my car. Don't quite know why yet- it's 15, but well-maintained with only 75k- I'll have it for a couple of years yet! He had DSD with him, and while they were waiting on the V6 to be fixed, took a look round the showroom, and they both found a car they liked. Passing time and amusing DSD really!
DH was looking at a Ford S-Max. No way. I know a sports car may be a tad impractical with a baby, but I'm not quite down with a huge shapeless non-sporty box yet.
DSD meanwhile, was standing beside an RS 500. I know who's coming with me when I do change cars!

I've discovered sleep is only possible in a weird twisted position that shouldn't even be possible- anything else is uncomfortable!

Morning all hope we are all ok. Was getting really strong tightenings earlier - kind of like the ones you get in early labour? Seem to have gone now so I guess it was just BHs. Got consultant tomorrow for a growth scan so get to see bubs again and see how heavy he's getting!

With Squeak I ate barely anything... I went right off cooked food and ate weetabix and soft fruit for 7 months, so I'd have been fine if all my teeth fell out but a little odd :rotfl: Also I used to buy the frozen raspberries and just eat them by the boxload... still frozen of course. Don't like the fresh ones much and the defrosted ones are eally only good for cooking. But the frozen ones are yum :)

This time I seem to be eating lots of rubbish and I'm feeling paranoid that I've put loads of weight on, though I'm in my mat jeans from last time and OH hasn't really said anything about it except telling me not to worry about it when I moan and that there's plenty of time to shift any after, which is either unusually nice of him or not as much weight as I thought has gone on.

I like hearing everyone moaning too, makes me feel like I'm not alone :rotfl:

    Morning all,

Well ended up on the sofa again last night, how come i can get comfy on there but not in my lovely big bed? Weird! Not complaining though, definate foo foo action this morning, think baby must have moved and off to the MW in a bot for her to check BP and baby. I have a BP monitor at home which i borrowed off my mum, and i've been checking at random times throughout the day for the last week after my BP was up at the last appointment. Every time i've checked it's been between 110 and 120 over 55-65 so nothing high about that. So hoping the MW will be happy with it.

Other than that nothin major going on here today other than a phonecall from the vets to say that one of my furry babies blood test results are back and it looks like teh tablets and diet are working as her Ca level is almost at normal:)

frozen raspberries! I've a shelf full of them from Asda. Also, grapes and carrots. :)

I think with moaning it's great on here! I'm first-time, but most people I talk to have been there and done that. I'm sick of going to someone if I'm worried and getting brushed off with 'Oh stop worrying, you'll be alright.'
I know I will, but there's bits I worry over, or want to check with someone if it's normal etc..... :) This thread's handy for that!

I can see how much weight i have put on this time i have awful stretch marks on my lower belly and tops of my legs.

For the belly i can blame the baby but the legs is all me, even tho i walk everywhere, i think for me, i need to just "put the fork down fatty" and i hoovered the hall stairs and landing yesterday and afterwards i was puffing and panting it was ridiculous i`m so unfit lol.

With my DD i craved lemons and i ate about 9/10 a week, i ate them like you would a apple mmmmmmm, i havent really wanted one with this pregnancy tho.
  • morning all.

i haven't done much moaning up until now, i feel the last few days i've made up for it. i need my sleep, i can't cope without it, but i know once the baby is here i still won't be getting much! i need sleep!!!!!!! a solid block of sleep, not just a bit here and there  i was so tired last night i could have cried :(

anyway, my mum raided the asda baby event for me yesterday and came away with a bouncy chair, bottle brush and health care kit thingy :T we then went shopping together in my local town and found a brilliant second hand baby shop :j i only came away with a mothercare cardie for £3, but they had loads of nice stuff and i shall be going back regularly.
  • Morning all!

Feeling a tad more human today!! Just waiting to see whether I'm going to meet my breakfast again and then I'll make a firm judgement on the day :D

Does anyone know if the symptoms I was talking about yesterday could be a side effect of co-codamol? I only ask because I started feeling sick when the hospital starting giving it to me and yesterday I threw up all my tablets and didn't take anymore and now I'm starting to feel better? Just wondering if that could be why I've been so ill.

Everyone in RL is fed up of hearing me whinge so I'm afraid I completely offload on here - glad I'm not the only one though!

Piggers - package arrived yesterday, thank you! Its absolutely perfect!

Labour vibes to all the boldies and anyone else who wants them! xxx
