Can anyone help me on the above...plllllllease.

SVSandy, see a MW if you're concerned?

I have a constant ache in my groin, especially if I don't keep my legs together.... :) It gets worse during the day, and almost burns at night. Feels like a really badly pulled muscle, and well- feels like almost bruised at times.
MW told me it was mild SPD, just normal pregnancy pains....

Sorry! I sit on a yoga ball from time to time it seems to help, as does a bath.

Mimi, I think after your 39 weeks, because you're technically still employed you aren't entitled to anything. That's why I'm having to go back to work after the 39 weeks. However, if I'm wrong (and I hope I am) and you can get something I'd be interested to know as I'd def take the full year off then. :)

This is what I thought too - im hoping im wrong lol but i doubt it! I'm cutting my mat leave short because of this reason - but wouldnt it be nice to find out we're wrong lol

I've got every other week off from now until December so probably could put up with boss - but he is really narking me today!

Did you know you also still accrue holidays - so I go back in sept - will work sept - dec which is 40 days for me (P/t!) and I'll have 18 days holiday to take so next year I'll only be at work for 22 days LOL :rotfl: brilliant!!

Lirin, that sounds exactly like what I have.

My MW wasn't worried in the slightest- said if I was crying and unable to move they'd maybe start getting concerned!

I'm quite pleased with my bump- it's went egg-shaped the last couple of days, and is very tight and neat..... Looks good, though I feel like I'm carrying a bag of cement!
  • i think i might have overdone it slightly, my feet are on fire and got a random ache in my lower belly ...

Was supposed to have a chilled day today but have dropped off the rental car (now officially without wheels following the write off waiting for the insurance to sort out) walked into town, been to the bank and walked back, (via 99p stores to get wallpaper paste as i refuse to pay b&q prices) cleaned out the fire place, swept the front room and kitchen, cleaned out the fire grate and re-stacked ready for the next cold spell, cleaned the kitchen work tops and polished the front room, also dusted all the ceeilings (stupid victorian house) and now about to start dinner - roll on bed time!

Damn, just remembered OH wants to go for a run tonight which consists of us both walking (or waddling) to the park and me sitting on the bench while he runs around - that hill is so not fun on a good day - bah, will rest tomorrow instead

Sorry i cant help with the pain SvSandy i would definately mention it to the midwife though!

Yoga woman has finally emailed me back, not sure now. Sent me her address and said to send a cheque to guarantee my place. Starts next Monday. Don't want to be sending a cheque off into the wilderness.

I don't have a cheque book anyway neither does my OH, so wouldn't be able to manage it anyway, and by time it gets sent etc it's going to be almost the weekend probably. Not so sure now anyway, it's taken her from Thursday to email me back, which doesn't sit well with me.

On another note my OH's mum just text asking if I'd bought any muslim squares yet, gave me a giggle :o

Hi everyone. Sorry to hear so many suffering with achy hips and the like..

I'm 22+6 today. Eek, can't believe its flying past so soon. My BabyBump App on my phone gives me a countdown, and its scary watching as the days done gets bigger than days left. I'm now159 down, 121 to go!

I've not had heartburn too badly yet, just a few times, and so far, my best solution has been chocolate Friij milkshake! Works better for me than milk, i guess cos its nice and thick and coats everything. Great excuse eh!
