Morning all:D

Still nada happening here, so looks like I'm in for the long haul. I am absolutely exhausted though, couldn't face going on my gym ball last night as I thought if it got things moving I just wouldn't have the energy for labour lol Will get bouncing more from today onwards though as I want to avoid induction next week as much as possible.

Winnie, sorry you're feeling so rubbish. Have a good cry if you want to, it may help you feel better. I can't relate to the spd pain as I have had a relatively easy second half to my pregancy but I remember all too well how ill and depressed I was with hypermesis in the first half and its so hard to keep postive and see an end in sight. I really feel for all you ladies suffering like this, it must be horrible:(

debski, I have had that antsy feeling on and off for the past month and I'm still here:p But I did put my notes in the car during that time just in case as it was one less thing to worry about. If you've packed your hospital bag already it may be worth putting it in the boot as well. I felt much more settled once all this was done, so I think I was subconsciously worrying about not being ready.

Lirin, you have 12 months to get points from online orders added to your card instore so no rush to do so until you're going to be near a big Boots store anyway.

Great news on getting your house vacated Missy, I'm sure its a huge relief.

Re sleeping bags I have a couple that I got from TK Maxx and was under the impression that they could only be used once baby was a certain weight. So I bought 2 0-6 month ones but can't use them until baby is 9lbs or something? I plan to use the swaddle wraps for the first few weeks though anyway and then swap over.

I think I've talked OH into taking me out to dinner later:D I can't wait, I'm just so bored sitting around the house now. What does everyone else due once they're overdue? I think OH would prefer me to stay at home wrapped up in cotton wool but I feel the need to be doing as much as possible to make the most of my free time lol

I have still not heard from anyone regarding seeing a midwife or having an early scan. I live in a small town where a district midwife comes to our GP surgery once a week, which is on a Thursday so maybe i will hear something today. I am tempted to call and see if i can speak to midwife myself.

Can't believe I queue jumped! Sorry ladies. It's the last thing I was expecting.

Waters broke at 36+4 with no other symptoms, went into labour later that day and he was born within 24 hours. Still in shock as I was completely geared up to go 2 weeks overdue.

I was so convinced I'd go overdue that we hadn't even talked about names.

Saw your post about moods. The afternoon before I felt very agitated and unsettled. I sat in the lounge thinking "I feel very odd and I dont know why. I'm sure I've heard women feel like this before labour...oh pull yourself together you've got weeks to go."

Do NOT tell me that - I'm at a family wedding tomorrow and it would be the worst day this child could possibly appear!!



I do feel very odd today - I just want to go home and hibernate but I feel uncomfortable sitting, standing, lying down, bouncing on my ball etc.....

Hope the labour was ok once you'd got over the shock and your little boy is all you hoped for
