I try to sleep on my left, like a lot of other people (it seems) that gives me pain in my hip, knee or even ankle. Strangely not always the one I'm lying on. I've invested in a couple of body pillows from Lidl (last thursday's deal). They're quite flat and pillowish rather than round like a bolster, so I've been lying on one and cuddling the other between my knees. God knows what it looks like but I've finally managed to sleep better! :D

Botherification... I forgot the mw had threatened to ring.. and answered the phone.. bottoms!

Anyway she is going to ring back with blood results eventually.. isnt coming to pee me off any more than she already has.. I cant cope with her.. she wanted to come next week and I would have been stropping about it until then. I refused to go speak to anyone.. pointless stupid waste of time talking they lie and lie and lie and bully and are nasty and I refuse to subject myself to it.. though I am not actually sure who she wanted me to speak to.. but Im not going anyway. She didnt put up much of a fight when I said no to everything.. incuding when she asked if I was just going to turn up at the hospital in labour at some point..

I did say I have jut had enough and need to be normal again because I cant stand much longer of this.. and eviction still feels like forever away.

anyway.. she threatened to ring again in 2 weeks.. so I need to remember she is ringing and not answer.. private calls are no longer answered... :p

I dont think I am going to be able to move off the sofa for the rest of the day..

Yeah right, Pigpen :D. A whole afternoon of you sitting down with your feet up?? Hope the painkillers help with the pain all the same!

Mimi, your OH sounds like a complicated critter. Looking after a baby will be wee buns compared to dealing with him!

PP have you got a shower over the bath? If you have try asking the physios for a bath board... I have one after my episode last year and I still love it now lol.

We have the shower but I cant get in the bath.. we have a roll top bath which is about half as deep again as a modern bath and I simply cannot get my fat self in. Plus I am not seeing the physio.. waiting 3 weeks for another appointment is way way too late.. Ill be nearly 35 weeks.. if it hasnt already arrived by then it will only be days off so a waste of time.. I should have been seen in April like I was meant to have been..

Im sure I can manage a few more weeks.. though I WILL moan constantly and I will depress you all with my moaning... lol

A bath board means you don't have to get in!

This is like the one I have

You just put it on the bath (more secure than it sounds lol) and sit on the board when you shower. It does help honestly I promise. You don't have to get in the bath at all, this is basically just like sitting on a chair.

It was the only way for me to wash at home when my right leg decided it wasn't listening to my brain anymore and wouldn't move at all lol.

but it needs to sit on both sides of the bath? like a shelf?

and the water goes all over the floor?

and it would be too high.. the top of the bath side is halfway up my thigh
