  • Hi Lirin :rotfl:

I've been awake since 4.30am, my regular getting up time now :(

Eugene the Bean was doing somersaults at that time :D

Sorry to hear that your worrying about your birth options, is this because of you having haemophillia?

The Remblahblah whatever it is called, sounds like a better oprion that Pethedine or Epidural to me, but not every hospital does it.

Fr anyone who sent their scan pic to Nuby, the list of breast pump receivees is up, and I'm on it :j:j:j

I'm on the list! Or at least, someone with my name. If it's not selfish, I do hope it's me!

Apprehensive about labour as I have never done it before. Remfentil seems nicer than some of the alternatives, and extra blood will be available during the labour as I'll be in transfusion territory. I'm not a haemophiliac- the consultant specialises in that area. I do have an extremely high bleed/bruise risk though. Encouraging!

My mum had said that probably indicated it would have to be a planned labour- so stupid, I never thought to ask stuff like that. Will have to ask consultant next time I see him. Also, I'd have liked a water birth, but if I'm a potential bleeder I can't see that being allowed either....

    Morning Ladies

Im up too, been awake since 4.50 this morn, bloody seagulls!!

Re: Pethidine PP i had it with DD and was convinced hospital bed was a taxi and that i had stolen it and got it into the hospital without anyone knowing!! Everytime the midwife came in i was laughing my head off and trying to keep her away from my 'taxi' !!!

OH is out all day at a drift racing day and then camping overnight, so my best friend is coming over for lunch and a catch up :D

Also, should have the keys back to my house on Tuesday as evil tenants have been re-housed by the council - she had the cheek to ask if she was getting her deposit back!!! Um, yep, when you have paid me the £2k you owe me in arrears!! Cheeky cow - grrr!!!

So, i now have 4weeks and 5 days until EDD and have to get new tenants in, hopefully move into our new house, sister and her family move down next week and are renting the house we are in now from us but will have to live together in same house until we complete, oh and have a baby :rotfl:

Have a good day all xxx

    morning girls.

omg i almost admitted defeat last night and called the hospital.

I had a fab evening, no pains. didnt' fancy eating a dinner so just had some gorgeous tiger bread, watched a film and felt for first tiem in ages normal:T.

went to bed no pains, snuggled down and it was brill. Come 3 am all hell broke loose. OMG the pain was unbearable i woke hubby, bless don't think he knew what hit him. WEll it was me as i wasn't able to speak, but he took it very well, lol. i didn't know what to do. my head was spinning, i felt sick. eeewwww i just wanted to sleep and get the pain gone. this went on for rest of night until about 5 am when i think either the pains stopped or i just zonked out. but woke up still in pain althoguh not as bad.

if i could of guarenteed that nasty midwife wasn't working then i would of phoned up. but as i couldn't then i thought i can't bear to go up . tbh i was in so much pain i not sure how i would of walked.

Pains eased a bit now. hubby gone to work but only a few hours and mum just down road. kiddies are happy with xbox and were gonna do some colouring. hopefully the pains will pass like before.

gonna be a long few days i think. i'm just so not used to having pains like this in a pregnancy . it can't be normal, surely. but what can i do.

    Hugs Hun

You really need to go and get yourself checked out again as it sounds scary and you dont want to be going through that every night as you will have no energy for when baby comes.

Sorry nothing more constructive to say but look after yourself and if nasty midwife is working just refuse to be seen by her xxxxxx

I agree JCR, you've got to call them. You can't just be left to suffer like that!

awww thanks hun. tbh i can't face going back up there. i appreciate 90 % of midwifes up there are amazing. and in my 8 years of using the maternity ward this is the first time i've ever had a bad experiance. but it has really put me off.

i am completely shattered. this is why on the wed night the doc was gonna give me somethign to help me sleep . as he said at least i'd get a bit of a better night before section next day.

but pains are slowly easing now and i've had a gorgeous cup of tea, it has stopped raining and sun is coming out.

but yes definatly if/when i do go up then i am refusing care from that midwife and she also isn't coming anywhere near our new baby. may sound extreme but seriously why would i want her near us and why would she want to , after she coulndt get rid of me fast enough a few days prior.

I'd suggest ringing them and telling them just that, that the attitude of that MW is putting Mums and babies at risk because you won't go in if she's there and you are in need of medical assisstance. If nothing else I'd have thought they'd have wanted to keep you overnight to see whats actually happening to cause these pains.

I agree with Delain. If her attitude has stopped you ringing in, it's worth making a complaint- you shouldn't be made to feel bad.
