Well we are off to the carnival thingy later to see the fireworks etc. Gives me something to do! The monsters wanted to go last year but I spent that night in A&E. Ooops lol. At least I kept the promise I made when I said we'd go this year

Keep a positive attitude and you'll be fine. I had G+A only, and right at the end not even that, just the mouthpiece to chew on. A friend of mine got to 8cm without even realising she was in labour.
All births are different, so just keep positive and you're half way there.

Hello :wave: only just seen this thread.

I am 23 weeks pregnant tomorrow, we are expecting a little girl :j

EDD is 11 Dec 2011.

So far so good, scans are fine, I feel fine but i'm anaemic and diabetic and was before I fell pg. I go to the clinic every fortnight though so am being well looked after.

I have been told I'll be induced at 38 weeks.

So far we need to buy a few more bits and bobs, we have our travel system which I love, it's the Recaro babyzen and is amazing.

I still need a cot, bedding etc, I'm planning to breast feed and use cloth nappies, I bought a load of totsbots using the mothercare glitch codes which made me a v happy bunny, I'll try other brands but might get them from eBay or preloved.
I also made it onto the nuby breast pump list :j

Reaching the end of week 32 with my pink bump and have had my first lot of really random practice contractions; really hoping this isnt a sign of an early arrival!
Feeling really overwhelmed with everything in life atm especially preparing all the furniture, clothes, nappies etc. as well as dealing with DS and his new big teeth that have decided now is a great time to come through. So not getting any sleep because of being uncomfortable with bump but getting up to see to him as well!
Can't wait for maternity leave to start might actually get some rest before the onset of labour.
Sorry for moaning ... getting to that stage lol! Hope everyone is well x

My EDD is 23rd February 2012. So Im just over 12 weeks, I have my dating scan on weds but have already had one so know the due date.

My husband and I havn't bought anything yet as we want to wait until the scan, but we have looked around at prams and furniture etc. We're moving house too and are at the stage of just sold ours and bought another so could take 8 or so weeks to go through, fingers crossed:). So could be a stressful time but I am not getting stressed!! Well, I'll try!:p

Right... in true drama llama style I am flouncing... does it matter if I go out in my pjs? save getting dressed etc.. OH has f***ed me right off now.. if I dont go out I may say/do something I may or may not regret... I am being taken for a first class mug and I will not stand for it!
