My last scan showed something that could mark Hitchhiker as a boy, but may be the cord or just a shadow. :) It's rather fun guessing! We shall see. Plenty of names either way. The name we have for now would be a little offbeat, we're really not into traditional or popular....

    Anybody else becoming completely forgetful?

Yep, I'm forgetful, and still having the vivid dreams :(

Last night it was raining and I had to get the kids to school (with canoes?!) so I was going to take them in the car... But then when we were getting to time to leave I remembered that I haven't done my driving test  So we were runnning down the road with these canoes and we just saw the bus go from the end of the road! There was more to it, like everything was slightly 'out' ie wrong number bus, wrong road etc.

    Very peculiar indeed!

Well Abby I can put your mind at rest I have indeed not popped during the night! Lost 2 bits of plug, had a few aches and that's it.

Big hugs all round I think xx I was referred to fetal medicine at 18 and 20 weeks because of my waters and it's a scary place to first time :( I much preferred their scanning machines though, much clearer!

Oooh - his bum is under my left rib, legs and arms out right. Hopefully he won't move too much now.....

Might pump up my birthing ball later tonight to encourage him to engage now too....

    xDx

She told me bum on the left and head down is ideal :T mine seems to shift multiple times a day now. Sometimes I can't feel anything at all - it's all soft and squishy and other times there are big and small lumps. I wish I had the knowhow to work out what lump is what baby part.

Abby, move in! If it feels right. I met DH on the internet (car owners website- he cleaned my car.). I moved in 3 weeks later, as I knew we were getting on well. Got sick of waiting to be asked to marry a bit later, as I knew that was inevitable, so I asked him. 5 years together now, just over a year married- best decision I've ever made.

Um, not that I'm terribly impulsive.... :) Just go with the flow.

Oh its not suitable at the moment. I am still at university so need to be on one place, he lives in a town 19 miles away (well address to address) and also we couldn't afford to live together at the moment.

I need the income as a "single student parent" to settle some debt so that it doesn't hang over my head when I graduate and also to build up some savings so that when we do live together we have a good start! And he also needs to stay living with his parents for a while because he doesn't pay that much in housekeeping (£140 pm) which enables him to pay his car insurance and also build savings. The only way we could live together is if one of us won the lottery! I will just have to settle for him driving to mine as much as he can and us sharing the petrol cost

I do love him a lot though

Hi ladies, quick question, might be a bit gross?

Was in town earlier just walking to the health food shop and felt a bit damp (down there) got home and went to the loo to find a very damp pair of knickers and a damp patch on the crotch of my trousers, definately not wee wee, unsure now what to do. Could it be a little leak of fluid? It's not happened since i got home and i feel fine, bit of tummy and back ache but then i've had that before, i'm not due til 2nd September!

    I love gross things.

I found that sometimes my discharge was REALLY runny...I'd start wearing pantyliners if I were you, it only gets worse.

On a serious note, what did it smell like. If it smelt sweet or like eggwhite then its amniotic fluid. If it smelt like vinegar it could be discharge, and if it smelt salty its urea.

It could be wee though, I've gotten the weakest pregnancy bladder. I have to do a constant pelvic floor exercise alllll the time
