I have gone down from a good size 18 to a 16... Someone did tell me a couple of weeks ago I looked like I'd lost weight, which was nice although I did respond quite ungraciously, because I feel like a fat cow at the moment :o

My heaviest was 14st 3, and that was due to that flaming implant and the pill mainly.

My ultimate goal is to get back into size 12 jeans! I just hope I can do it. At one point I was going swimming which helped, but it's so expensive :(

Morning everyone, its been ages since I last posted but its starting to all feel scarily real now. I'm 37 weeks today:eek: and I honestly can't believe how quickly this 3rd trimester has flown in. My calm, laid back demeanour is starting to fade as all I can think about is how I'm not ready yet for a baby- think they'll hang on in the womb till I am?:rotfl:

I really need to pack my hospital bag today. I have all the contents I think (except a towel-I want a new fluffy one for some reason even though I know the state it will end up in) so that should be easy and I need to wash the baby clothes/bedding I have. I keep putting that of as it seems like its too early but it really isn't. My pram & car seat arrives next week and I put the moses basket and crib up in the bedroom at the weekend so things are all starting to come together now.

Also I know when I was last on a few peeps were talking about wanting the angelcare sound/movement monitor. I got it for £49.XX at Mothercare by getting them to price match it from this site. I put mine on the baby plan with my pram etc but if you order on the phone you should get a £10 gift voucher posted to you as well as per their price match promise:D I pricematched my pram/car seat with Mothercare as well and was very impressed as they didn't even check stock levels on the other sites and they let me chose different colours to those which I found cheaper. Its worth looking into as it means you can get the cheapest web price without taking the risk of ordering from a site you've never heard of before.

Hope everyone is keeping well, and labour vibes to those who are ready and willing to receive them x

my heaviest I was 12st 10... not including the days after sprog hatching.

I was never a size 12.. I went from a 10 when pg with DD3 to a 14/16 after she was born and haven't gone down anything despite losing 2.5/3 stone at one point.... I don't see how you can go from 12.5 stone to 9.5 stone and still fit in the same clothes.. it was so incredibly demoralising!

Claire.. get a dark coloured fluffy towel.. TBF though I took cream ones and the only dirt/blood/mess on it was the filth from the hospital bathroom.. there was nothing else on it.. and here they use their own crispy towels to dry you off straight after birth to save your nice new ones.

I was 12st 6 last weighed, but I'm sure it's gone up since then! My lightest ever day put me at 8st 7... I hadn't eaten for a couple of days though, post babies my best was 9st. I just wish I could maintain it though, getting swimming etc isn't easy and I've been told off by the doctor about not eating, apparently I have to be healthy now and eat fish (yuck).

I just wish this baby would be nice to me like Squeak was and put me off food... but no!

Here they shove you in the shower as soon as they've finished stitching! Not nice :(

All this talk of weight gain is just too depressing. I haven't weighed myself throughout pregnancy but I was happyish with my weight until about 2/3 weeks ago when I swear I just balooned. I feel very bloated this week too which isn't helping. I was a size 14 pre pregnancy and if I can fit into my old clothes by xmas I'll be happy. I'll have no chance though if I keep eating the way I am- but then its not my fault that baby loves carbs and chocolate is it?:p:rotfl:

Thanks Pigpen, I'm going to get a black/dark grey one I think. Also think I'll pack flip flops rather than slippers for the practicality of showering afterwards. Oh its all very glam isn't it:D

Last year I had a problem that meant I couldn't walk... and I said to her I don't want a shower now, had enough want to go to bed lol but she shoved me in the bathroom anyway and then asked if I needed any help with getting undressed- erm no! I just want you to leave me alone  never happens though.

I'm still my pre-pregnancy weight? Despite expanding boobs and stomach. Should I be putting on weight by now? Not overly worried, as feel fine, and Hitchhiker seems fine every time we have tests/scans. I've had a chinese tub full of fruit salad this morning, pretzels, two litres of water, and some brown gunk that passes for free coffee in work. I get starving at times, but diet seems hit and miss.... I'll eat everything in sight (even the dogs guard their bowls), then I'll get days like today, where the fruit salad's left me stuffed.

I was 13stone 10 when I last braved the scales (gained 1 stone from booking).. I am refusing to even look at them until this one is 6 now! I am 28 weeks though so 1 stone isn't too horrific.. I guess...

I am trying desperately not to eat so much... I will happily trough through 4 cooked meals a day and I want meat... Keep your veg, fruit I don't much like anyway... I have been living on sausages and rice and fish fingers and mince and mash.. normally I have 1 meal a day and nothing else. My problem is the 3 sugars I have in my pint sized mugs of tea 1000 times a day.

Claire - I'm packing flip flops. Well actually I'll be wearing them and that's all I'm taking footwear wise. It's all I can fit on my fat feet these days. Slippers in a hot stuffy hospital in summer? No thanks!

I've gained about 3st at 34 weeks :( pretending at least the last half stone is fluid retention but I'm not convincing. It's too late now anyway so I'll worry about it later. I feel fat but that's because I AM fat (for me).

I'm not sure what to take in in terms of footwear. I'm not due until end October although it's going to be a c-section around 20th/21st I think. So it could be chilly going in but the wards are never cold. Plus I won't be wandering around much so it might just be flip flops for the hospital
