£6 for a pack of new baby nappies? Seriously?! 35 nappies will last, what, 3-5 days?! I've never looked at nappy prices before. Perhaps I should've thought of this before conception
I have reusables which I hope tonuse but thought I'd get disposables for the first week or so. Yikes.

My DH- very jokingly- after seeing prices, suggested to me in Asda that Hitchhiker may well live ferally and butt-naked in the yard with the dogs.... In retrospect, he could have talked a little lower and not horrified the two ladies nearby.........Skint_Catt wrote: »Is it wrong to shake your bump to get baby to move? I'd hope not, as I was extremely bored the other night and wobbling mine!0 -

nope.. Have you seen them trying to turn breech babies? A bit of a jiggle won't hurt them.. though a very cold drink or sugar rush is more effectiveLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I think Giblet has got used to sugar overload recently so it doesn't seem to react anymore - I'm currently halfway through a can of fizzy orange. I have felt him move but very gently & slowly, not his usual after lunch disco dancing. I'm sure he's just havign a qquiet day but I could cheerfully punch the bloody consultant now - it's not likely to be anything serious just because he said it to me yesterday but it's playing on my mind
Will give a few more jiggles when no-one at work's looking, lol

The thing is I'm not going to actively be looking for work as I'm so knackered, want to relax & will be moving house. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks, C xx
if hubby is working you won't get anything.. if you are over 26 weeks they will say you are on 'maternity leave' so you won't sign on anyway to get your nothing.I have half a sugar in tea.. My weakness is fizzy drinks! I don't drink many hot drinks at all. I think My OH would like you, he's a 1000 coffees a day person and I just don't think about putting the kettle on because I'm more of a cold drink person
Salad is good, I find as soon as I've eaten anything I feel full, it's all the rubbish I'm eating (cake, sausage rolls etc) that isn't helping.
Usually I eat quite a lot of fruit and salad, I've run out of a lot of stuff now, need to go shopping. I still have half a watermelon though!
The only fruit salad I eat is the chewy sweets lol
I never drink fizzy stuff.. I occasionally have lemonade if we go out for lunch.. then I stir it until flat.Skint_Catt wrote: »My weakness is fizzy drinks too - but had to go to caffine free diet coke as it was giving me bad heart palpitations  I'm also wondering if it's some cause of Giblets low weight(along with the stress I've had since day 1) I have fizzy diet orange today but wondering if I'd be better off on full-fat if anything. I do also drink a lot of cold water too.

Diet drinks are not good.. they have aspartame which is a fake sugar and is linked to behavioural issues weight GAIN aand various cancersLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Give it a shake skint_Catt. I find leaning forward on my office chair helps a bit. he doesn't like my bump touching the desk either. I worried myself the other day but a glass of icy water did the trick. I also thinkhe may have twisted round so was kicking more towards the back than outwards.
As long as baby twilight isn't humongous at birth, 81 first size nappies isn't too many is it?
I'm sorry your so uncomfortable jcr. It can't be easy with 3 other little ones to look after at the same time.0
