WW - sorry to hear your scan has given you more to worry about :( - like DL says, at least you're in the right place to get some good care

DL - ML sounds brill - can't wait for mine - 23 days left and counting!!

Sequeena - how exciting - hope you're in the midst of something happening now!

Apricot - huge labour vibes to you and all other boldies

Missy76 - I love St Ives so very jealous - enjoy your nights away

Sorry to anyone I've missed out - the thread moves so quickly and I do lurk but struggle to find the time to keep up.

I'm 32+3 today - can't believe how quickly it's going! Baby will be here within 5 and 10 weeks for definite! Eep!!

We're pretty much ready now, still have to wash the remaining clothes (we don't have many as we're team yellow), get some nursing bras/tops, get some PJs for the hospital (have none that fit me anymore!) and buy a mattress for the Moses basket. The nursery furniture arrived at the weekend and was put up by DH and finally the nursery looks more like a bedroom than a warehouse!!

Just the landing and stairs carpet to have laid and then we can relax and wait!

Health-wise, I'm doing good. No major aches/pains - I am one of the lucky ones. Have random period pain type cramps but nothing regular or painful. Guessing it's just the pressure. Bump has been really low since week 28 - sure he can go lower but not sure how without falling out!! When I sit down and he punches, I can feel him underneath, out the back (IYKWIM!)

Am looking forward to being able to make out feet/elbows etc - so far my belly has just wobbled around - many an evening has been wiled away laying on the sofa, top up, staring at my belly!! :D

Anyway, bit of an epic catch-up from me.

    xDx

    Morning all.....

Got home from work last night, so tired all day. Fell asleep on the sofa while Hobbit made dinner, woke up long enough to eat it and have a bath, then out like a light until 0530 for work this morning (the early starts could be fun when I'm huge and cold weather kicks in). Was nice to rest.....

Waiting to see if Hobbit will be able to come to consult with me tomorrow- despite asking for weeks, he won't know until he gets in to work tomorrow, which is annoying, as I suspect he won't get the couple of hours off....

Lirin I am very lucky in that OH's work are very good like that. In fact I'm pretty sure they think I'm forever on the verge of death (I'm really not - last year was just a bad year!) because as soon as he mentions I need to go to hospital/have an appointment and he needs to babysit/come to a scan they just tell him to have as long as he needs, and if I see certain members of them in town they always look really concerned and keep asking if I'm OK :o

I'm really looking forward to 20wk scan... I have a gorgeous coat I bought Squeak in 0-3 months, she hardly got to wear it, so if we're team pink (again! lol) at least the new baby will get use from it. If not then I will have to get rid of it, or dress a baby boy in a purple coat with brightly coloured spots :o

But either way it's nice to know :D OH still thinks this bump might be blue, but we will see ;)

    Morning All

PP your plans for the day have made me tired!!

WW glad you got to see Eugine moving around lots :) Hope the hole in the heart resolves itself! Do yuo have another scan soon?

Sequena and Apricot sending you those labout vibes :):D

Sequena, doglover and PP, i clicked on the plug pictures, big mistake this early in the morning! lol :)

Debski and Doglover i think that we are all quite close in our dates, im 33 + 2 and for some reason feel like its a million miles away until Elvis will land.

I have currently got raging tooth ache - well, slight exaggeration, it hurts when i have any food or liquid near the offending tooth (there was a small hole there when i had a check up at 13 weeks and as the pain is there i am assuming its that offending tooth) but i have a dentist appointment on the 22nd august and am wondering if i should call and make a new appointment or if i should just put up with it for the moment.

Is there anything anyone can suggest for toothache? Normally i would be rubbing the clove oil on but not sure if that is safe?

    Morning ladies :)

Thought i'd pop in to see how people are getting on. Only a week to go now for us untill the 20 weeks scan and i'm very excited! We've decided to find out the sex this time around, and i can't wait to be able to buy a few boy or girl clothes (last time i had a suprise and brought little unisex items untill baby arrived).

I'm now suffering with heartburn daily-it's taken longer then last time to make an appearance. Lying on my back now is impossible-really aches-my bump may not be big yet but it feels like a lot of weight pressing down on me when i lie on my back. I'm now an annoying wife who tosses and turns even more in bed-can't get comfortable! I think i need some extra pillows to put under my bump.

    It's next Thursday!

I have had the odd comment, but I haven't publicly announced it yet. The most common one is along the lines of 'Oh my god, another one, are you mental?' :o

I don't mind, I like babies. People keep asking me if girls are easier than boys Never had a boy, so I have no basis for comparison, but then my girls aren't 'normal' either so I imagine are harder work than most normal kids regardless of which bits they've got :rotfl:

From an MSE point of view I wouldn't have to buy much for a girl!

Are people still making comments to you? I know you said people kept quizzing you about if your bump was pink. It is very annoying!

Yeah still get the comments when I say its another boy like 'what a shame' and 'oh well you'll have to try again for a girl'. I got into an argument with one of the school mums because she said why wouldn't you want a girl, girls are soft, quiet and gentle and boys are horrible, loud and rude. I said that she was basing all girls and boys on HER girl and boy. My boys are like chalk and cheese!

Only 2 weeks left at work for me. I can't wait to finish as it's becoming quite a drag to go everyday. I still have lots to finish off before I go but motivation is low. It really hit me that time is whizzing past and not that long left so I've gathered most of the essentials for a hospital bag and hope to have it pretty much packed this weekend (between 34 and 35 weeks).

Starting to get fed up with my OH. He seems a bit too flippant about the whole thing. Time to start taking him to antenatal appointments me thinks. So far he has only been to scans and I've been to the midwife alone which works well with both out work schedule but he's p*55ing me off now as seems to think it's my baby and I'm the one who's grown it and will give birth to it and will feed it. Think he's heading or a shock. Definitely needs a kick up the backside! Grrr. Rant over.

Hugs to WW. sounds like a real cutie at the scan. I hope they're looking after you well.
