Hope everyone is enjoying fathers day.
Have a couple of questions... Thanks in advance :-)
What do you snack on? Im aware that Im having lots and lots of sugar- both in fruit and chocolate cakes etc, but can't think of anything else easy to snack on.
How have you been cleaning your oven? I normally use Mr muscle but don't think its good for bump and couldn't stand the smell anyway.
What do you wear to bed to combat leaky nipples? ican't sleep in a bra and wouldn't normally wear pj's but don't like waking up in a mess!
    Bump due 22nd September

I just booked a restaurant for us tonight.

Trouble is, there's two with similar names, and I booked at the wrong one by mistake- as the restaurant set the phone down, they confirmed the time and place, and I didn't get a chance to answer- was just left thinking- hang on, did he say....?
Called the second place, confirmed, and phoned first place back to cancel.

    I'll blame it on baby-brain.

I snack on fruit, nuts, biscuits- at the moment, Jacob's cream crackers! :) Crisps as well, pretty much anything I can. Yoghurt is a favourite at the moment too....

Cleaning the oven? Nothing. I just try (I'm hopeless at it, so it always sets DH off) the big eye, fluttering eyelash thing and ask nicely if he does it, I'll do such and such.....

Leaky nipples? Glad to say I haven't encountered that yet. (Sorry!)

Ive been wearing crop tops but dont bother every night. Get into a bit of a mess with it some nights but I just laugh, after all its all a part of pregnancy and hopefully since we are already leaky we wont have as many problems with breastfeeding? I only hope lol!

Wrote out my husband's card from bump and just waiting for him to get in from work now. :D Got him a Daddy's pen (as Im always stealing his!) and a pair of socks for little guy saying Daddy and a heart. :happyhear

    Thanks girlies.
Hadn't thought of yogurt but will get some in :-) and show OH where the oven cleaner is!
Supermaiden, where do you get your crop tops from?Im hoping it'll give us a head start on feeding too!
I did hubby a funky pigeon card from bump and got an Elliot little teddy with daddy on its tummy. Hid it up my top so it was from bump!

I got them from Peacocks. They are 2 for £5 and at the minute they have a 20% off sale on their website. ;)

I have been bad at snacks lately... today have had porridge with banana and cinammon, a 99p McDonalds chicken burger for lunch, then Mr Kipling lemon slices, Twix slices... a nectarine... cereal with strawberries... and have a roast dinner in the oven. Not very healthy day!

On the plus side, got some blackout blinds for nursery, plus some for bedroom from Dunhelm Mill as they have a sale on. Plus hubby has assembled our Ikea furniture which makes living room look more organised.

At Ikea, no jole, 50% of the women there were pregnant - talk about nesting instinct kicking in!

    Evening Ladies

We had a lovely fathers day, dd woke us up early at 6.30 (i struggle to get her out of bed before 7.30 on a school morn!) with a card, gingerbread men she made and a pic of her and OH in a frame - i think it was the excitement of having gingerbread men for breakfast that got her out of bed so early - she is only 5 lol

Then i made sausage sandwiches for brekkie, after that we went to a fruit farm and picked raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and broad beans. Stopped in South Hams for lunch, then OH took DD to the go-kart track and i sat and watched whilst munching on the fruit we picked :D

Am knackered now though, and i know OH will want to DTD tonight as we haven't for the last 2 nights, so im feeling guilty as i really want to crawl into bed as soon as i have put DD to bed at 7pm :(

I hope you have all enjoyed your day, hopefully i will find the energy from somewhere!!x

    Hiya,
I'm snacking on cashew nuts, breakfast cereal, and raspberry ripple ice-cream, yum!
I don't clean the oven, it doesn't usually need it, and my mum sometimes offers to do things like that :j She's a bit more domestic than me!

with cleaning of the oven, i do it monthly so it never that bad. i just use really hot soapy water and no chemicals.

however i got a new cooker 5 weeks ago and i've not wiped it over yet ( mainly becuase i didn't use the oven much at first as too scared, lol) but when i do which is prob tomoz or tues will do same way.

i've used mr muscle before and i've found as long as windows and doors are open it is just about bearable, but it does have an awful smell to it.

Oven pride however is fab. it comes in a box with a big plastic sealable bag and a bottle of solution. You put the oven shelfs in the bag, pour in soloution , seal up and leave over night. in the morning you take out, wash off soluiton and the shelfs are spotless. i think it was about £4 in morrisons. Fantastic stuff.
