Congratulations LittleBit baby Oliver is gorgeous!

I've been for a pregnancy massage this evening - it was fantastic! I feel completely relaxed, am definitely going to try and fit in another one before baby arrives!

Only 1 week left at work now :j so excited! My boss keeps telling me Im going to be bored at home before baby arrives but I already have my television schedule ready, Jeremy Kyle, This Morning, Loose Women etc. I love daytime tv!

It was £47 for 60 minutes - it's not cheap but it was so worth it & not everyone is qualified to do pregnancy massage. I honestly can't remember feeling so relaxed! (I may have almost fallen asleep and started dribbling on the pillow LOL!)

Oo Apricot that sounds lovely, how much do they cost?
My husband got me a shiatsu massager chair for our anniversary as we had seen them when we were at The Range and thought they were great. I had been looking at getting a second hand one on ebay but they are in the supermarket now and a bargain so he grabbed one :D

Baby has been making me feel really uncomfy the last couple of days. Today he was pushing so high at my ribs and he keeps pushing his bum forwards and its soo not a nice feeling lol. I dont know what he is doing in there! People are thinking we are going to end up having him early but Im not ready yet lol and we have lots of things going on this month so he has to wait until next month! And if he hasnt come before hand he has to wait until after Ive seen Harry Potter on the 15th haha! I keep joking with my sister that I will go and end up in labour while watching it but she wont let me leave lol.

    oh boy what a night.

Well as hubby been on nights this last week, we thoguht we'd have some us time last night. catch up with everything we've sky plused and watch a film. i made a curry ( we always have vindaloo) with all the extar bits to go with it.

Served up, oh it was gorgeous. bit hotter than normal but still scrummy. about 20 mins into eating i started getting braxton hicks. had them all day , so just got more comfy and they seemed to ease.

Well i was then up till about 5 am this morning in agony they were so bad. i think maybe baby was objecting to the hot curry. or it just a coincedence. finally fell asleep about half 5 when they eased or i was just so tired i conked out, only to be woken up at 7am :rotfl:. so i feel shattered.

Kids all got parties today so gonna be a busy day, but come tonight i'm crashing out ,lol.

hi, all just seen the new thread and read it all congrats to littlebit, labour vibes to those in need.
Omg i am so unorgasnized I have nothing.
I sold my youngests puschair so i can get the same on in the new version going to get it pricematched although mothercare sell it you cant put it on the nursery plan, as its an online order only and don't want to order it now to have to store it for 15 weeks. It's the stokke xplory btw that i will be getting, but i will buy the accessories as i go along so i only need the xplory later.
I have just bought some vests from tesco in the sale may go & buy some more bits today in the sale to try and get the basics, and i have actually bought blue even though i was going to stay neutral.
pigpen which m&p range did you gt at 75% off. as the room the bubs is going to be in is cream walls just going to jazz it up with a range.
I need everything else but must get a move on, keep looking and putting it off. but do have boots advantage points and there is usually a baby sale in September, tesco clubcard vouchers, & asda card that i can use.
Also need to do things in the house, finsihg bathroom (blinds & flooring), 2 rooms need plastering & outside wants pointing. so not much to do.

we got the barney buttons range .. I like neutral bedding so it is creams and brown.. The stuff we got for Squeak was the mothercare Please Look After Me range which is now discontinued but the same colours. I need a second PLAM cotbed though for Dot..

DD1 has decided to move out (stupid little muppet that she is.. ) so I am getting the girls room decrate.. sorting DD1's room into a 'spare' room until after christmas and moving the 2 babies into there when I've got the second cot. Then MIL will be able to come stay over and have no excuses about not wantin to kip on the very comfy sofa bed which I hope will solve childcare when the baby arrives..

    Morning ladies!

jcr I can relate - both weds and thurs I slept so badly, only around 3 or 4 hours per night, have been so grumpy...last night finally was ok, so hope you get to sleep later.

Durham you're not the only one - I have plastering, black our blinds, painting and nursery to do, so we're in the same boat!

Apricot, great minds think alike! I got a £40 treatment voucher as part of my baby shower gifts, so couple of weeks ago booked a pregnancy massage for my first Monday off, I can't wait. Just 4 more days at work now, really feeling it so hope it goes quickly...

Am thinking of going to Ikea today, any recommendations for what is good to get there for bubs? I like your neutral ideas pigPen, seems to be that'll last him alot longer generally so I am thinking along those lines too.

    Hello ladies

I was just wondering whether anyone else is/is thinking of taking evening primrose oil to help soften the cervix? I've never been one for taking supplements, and cried off the RLT because I could only find capsules not tea (I hate taking tablets/capsules), but a friend has recommended using EPO internally so thought I might give it a bash and see if it helps soften me ready for my sweep on Friday? I've had a quick google and some articles say it is safe, and some don't. I've sent DH to buy some, but just wondered if anyone else had any personal experience of using it?

Nothing exciting or interesting to report today so far. Another night in agony with my SPD. Dreading having to sleep in a hospital bed without all my cushions and padding :o

38 weeks today - I really am going to get to see my baby soon :D:D:D
