I was going to ask exactly the same question about nighties, Hayley! But i fell asleep at 8 last night
I'm normally size 12 but have but on weight so in a lot of 14 maternity stuff. Was looking at size 16-18 nighties on matalan website (so I can use the 15% discount code from MSE email). I think 20-22 would be too big for me but 16 is only one up from 14. Hmmm
Lirin - been thinking about your bump measurement. Did you measure it at the same point?0 -
Just popping on to say Good Luck Sequeena. Can't wait for updates :j

Around my belly button, which seems the biggest part! Not worried, but also made a mental note to avoid watching Alien for a few more weeks.... It seems smaller today, maybe I could get a job in a circus sideshow? The amazing expanding/ shrinking stomach.... :rotfl:0 -

DOnt worry too much about nighties ladies. I bought a few and my bump when down (well deflated like a balloon
) after about a week and I continued to wear my maternity clothes for a few weeks. Just buy big and baggy ones that you'll be comfortable in x
Apricot, sweeps are not very nice but it might get things moving. I had one on the Wednesday, lost my plug on the Friday and Ethan came on Monday morning (the day I was due to be induced) x

I'm a pyjamas only girl and even OHs t-shirts aren't long enough to cover my nether regions at the moment. I hate nighties as when sleeping they end up screwed up round my middle. so I just need something cheap and comfy as I want my jammies back on as soon as possible!0

I've given up on any kind of nightwear! I'm getting so hot and wriggling so much that any clothes just get in the way!
Just back from midwife, my BP is still quite a bit higher than it has been but MW says thats perfectly normal especially with an infection. Got to go to GP to get a prescription for some canesten cream for the thrush too. Bump is measuring at 30 (cm? inches? litres? I dunno) which she's happy with. Got told off for sitting up instead of rolling over. Yeah coz rolling off a doctors couch is a good idea *roll eyes* and she got in a flap when my first vein wouldn't produce anything and spent the rest of the appointment apologising that she had to stab me again! Bubs heartbeat was good and strong and "sounds like a boy" though, so thats me happy for today
I have read back, but I can't remember anything so labour vibes to those who want/need them and hope everyone is doing ok0 -
Thanks vroombroom. I'm going to take something like that too. I'm dreading the heat in hospital. Hot stuffy rooms freak me out and i have this urge to just get out! I've never needed any kind of hospital treatment or stay before so really hope I'm there for minimum time.0

Morning all! Any news from Sequeena? I have a consultant appointment today complete with growth scan so am hoping they can confirm boy again as me and DH aren't convinced that what she pointed out was a willy! Looked more like a long thin stick!! lol. Maybe cord? We're not 'hoping they have it wrong' we just want confirmation if that makes sense! I keep getting dizzy spells but am just hoping it's the anaemia making me like that as it's not nice
PS I had a result in Tesco this morning. Bought some crunch creams that were on BOGOF but it the discount didn't go through so I had a refund and DTD back! They paid me to take them :j:TThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0
