Right, how am I supposed to do all these:
- keep feet elevated to relieve swelling
- dont sit in recline position but sit upright or leaning forward to encourage baby into good position
- spend time on all fours to encourage good position for baby
- sit on gym ball to relieve hip and back pain
- spend 8+ hours a day using a pc at work
Can someone invent some kind of pregnancy contraption to do all this?
iv always wondered how to elevate feet without reclining lol :rotfl::coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:
 but alcohol solves them all

I have a box under my desk at work though it's not the most comfortable position and I don't think they're high enough to stop my feet from swelling up!

Well as of last night we are using formula. Aptamil. Im not really sure of formula as Ive not used it for a long time and only with a cousin when I did use it. Any tips appreciated.
He seems to not be going the 4 hours between feeds it suggests on the tub and hes definitely had more than 6 bottles made up since we started so the guide seems to be rubbish. He isnt drinking the whole 90ml it says to give but I guess he will take that in time. He is also quite sick after eating it and brings up a good few ml's of milk all over mummy! I think I must smell bad of milk and sick lol.:j0 -

I used cow &gate as I liked the taste of it. Lots of friends used aptamil. I stuck to the 5 bottle routine and it worked. Cant remember the change over from breast feeding to bottle very well, but I think it took a little while to adjust from feeding on demand to bottles, plus babies are windier on bottles. Just have to spend ages bumping them, and some bottles are better than others for reducing wind and spit-up.
I did struggle with the guilt, but once I got the hang of it, bottles were great, and DD didn't get sick like I thought she would and the control freak in me liked being able to measure how much she was drinkingFirst Baby born January 2007

Aptamil is the best in terms of baby tummies I found.

Evening all! Supermaiden I hope you don't feel bad for switching to formula - you have to do what's best for you and baby. I used Aptamil with DS2 and it seemed to suit him. I agree PP it seems to be one of the best on the market and I've never heard anything bad about it.Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

Oooh, that's a good find. Might pop one of those in my basket.
We have a tens machine at home, just a regular one from Lloyds pharmacy. I asked the midwife if I could use it during labour even though it isn't a maternity one and she said 'yeah it will be fine', but reading the booklet it states not to be used during pregnancy / labour. So what is the difference between them?
I really want t get one now as the past 2 nights I have spent the majority of the night awake with back ache. At first I thought it was my kidneys and that I had an infection, but one I have been up for an hour or so the ache goes, only to reappear in the middle of the nightHas anyone else had this? I am 19+3 so i thought it would be a bit early for back ache?
