    Morning Ladies

We got the result we wanted at court yesterday, evil tenants have 14 days to leave the property and have to pay me the £2k+ that they owe me in rent arrears. They didnt bother turning up for court so will get the letter in the post today and will have OH and all the trawlermen that work for him turning up on their doorstep in 2 weeks time to remove them and their belongings!!

So know thats dealt with we just need to focus on the purchase of the new house. We really need it to go through by 20th August but i just cant see it happening, need to give OH a kick up the backside as he gets paperwork through and just holds onto it for a couple of days before doing anything with it:o

Anyway, i hope everyone has a good day, i woke up with a migraine so going to drop off DD grab some groceries, a bit of housework and then back to bed xx
Due 26th July, team yellow :D

I am just happy people here (in this country) have a choice.. 2 safe adequate ways of providing nutrition for their children.. and I don't give a toss what choices other people make.. I wouldn't do what anyone else told me so I wouldn't presume to tell anyone else... other than FF is much more work than I am willing to do!

I agree completely with this. Breast feeding is my first choice and one of the main reasons is, given the choice, I'd prefer not to be buying formula and cleaning and making up bottles. Other people have said to me that breast feeding is great for lazy people once you both get the hang of it. Of course I realise it may be incredibly tough going (as the earlier poster highlighted) and I may not manage it but I'll give it a damn good try. And I'm thankful that I have the choice.

Good news Missy. I hope this is the beginning of the end for your saga. I hope the migraine hops it too!

It seems like half the people on this thread are either moving house or having work done on their homes. Is this normal?!

Bought that 4head today for my poor pounding head that hasn't gone in 2 days, just applied it and it's the weirdest sensation ever.
Just be careful as one of these products says not to use if pg. Not sure i it's 4Head or the Boots own brand one though. The other is fine, and I found it worked a treat.
Go see your Dr about ongoing headaches though.

    Morning!

Great news on the evil tenants Missy!

Hugs Puzzled - what an awful day and horrible having to trog around hospitals like that! Hope you get cuddles from OH soon :)

Insurance assessor turned up at 6.45am  fortunately I was wide awake so could deal with him - DH slept through the whole thing! Anyway, the hole is covered on the insurance which (although I knew it would be) was a relief to hear. Was quite surprised that we didn't have to get any quotes though, they just offered a cash settlement which I'm sure is more than sufficient to get the damage fixed so hopefully the insurance company will send the cheque out quickly so we can get it sorted.

Still suffering with lots of pain again today, spent most of yesterday either crying or trying not to cry :( think I may have the beginnings of thrush as well (probably from the blinking antibiotics) - I'll just add it to the list of ailments! Got 28 week midwife appt tomorrow, which I believe is mostly for repeat bloods? Still, be nice to hear bubs heartbeat again - thats fast becoming the only reason I bother with these appointments any more!

Does anyone know much about blood pressure? I don't really understand it all but have just been flicking through my notes and I notice that up until last week my BP had been 100/65 at the highest but when I saw the doctor last week it was 138/86 which seems like a real jump to me? Could that be just down to the infection?

Labour vibes to all who want them :) xx

Not sure if it's normal but from where I'm sitting it definitely isn't the most sensible thing! Very strange but it seems like since I've been pregnant all those little "niggles" I'd been happy to live with before are now completely unacceptable and I want the whole house fixed!

Mine has done the same Winnie. Gone from something like 100/60 to 120/80 at my last appointment which was 31 weeks. The midwife didn't say anything but I always check through the notes to see if i can figure anything out. I know it dips in the middle of pregnancy and then rises again in 3rd trimester. I saw somewhere (possibly babycentre site) that 140/90 is when they consider it high but I don't know if that's accurate. So I'm just watching for other symptoms and waiting for my next appointment.

Missy- Congrats, hope they leave easy for you

Puzzled- Glad Elvis is ok, the car is only a car (though someone who drove into the back of my lovingly polished motor would most certainly hear about it), and glad you're okay

Winnie- That was your DH falling through the ceiling? Happened my parents years ago.... during building work a trainee stepped between the planks and gave himself a nasty injury :)

Bottle/breast argument- Pigpen's comments made me laugh! I don't think they're offensive. I do know that whatever I choose when the time comes I won't be pressured into feeling guilty over it- as long as baby gets fed, does it really matter so much how?

I've expanded rapidly this week.... Last week I could have passed as round, and waist was 46 in. It's almost 10in more in a week! Is that normal?

Oh yeah. That was my [STRIKE]muppet[/STRIKE] darling husband (:D) who fell through the ceiling! Nothing bruised but pride, although if he had "met" the beam, it would save the doctors a job when he gets dispatched for the snip shortly :rotfl:
