I'm having a grumble that sparkle has got her one out before me and we have the same due date and I'm still stuck in uncomfortable pregnant land

    grumble

EDIT: Sparkle, he is too cute for me to grumble for too long though. Can I have him?

    hi all.
Congrats to Sparkle - he really is a little stunner!
Abby - I'm due 2 days after you, i think my little one isn't in any rush to get out. I'm not truely uncomfertable. I have sore hips, walk like a duck, always feels like I need to pee - but thats about it? I'm 38+4 today - so im not expecting any early arrivals on the basis that i don't feel any different.......but as a first timer i'll be glad to be put right buy some of you more experienced ladies!!

I've read back, but memory is a load of carp!

I'm getting really bored with mat leave - it's only my 6th day off work, but already getting irritable cause feeling like i'm doing nothing!! Oh well - that'll change soon!!

Hugs and vibes to those that want them!!

    xx

Congratulations Sparkle im not going to lie - im insanely jealous that your little boy is here! He is gorgeous though!

Have been everywhere today and walked for miles, hopefully all the activity will have shifted baby into place - I very much doubt it though :p

Stil 9 days til due date so can't get too worked up about not going into labour. I just wish I had an exact date so at least I wouldn't constantly be thinking "is this the start of something?" every time I get a slight twinge or something! Ah well if I could predict that I would make millions!

Glad you're not suffering too much smileyface I feel as though Im walking around with a bowling ball in between my legs at the moment and can't get comfortable no matter what position I am in!

A bowling ball between your legs doesn't sound much fun Apricot! I really think that although baby is due next week, I'll be here for a good while after......to that end, I'm going to start talking to the angels and anyone else watching over me and ask them nicely to at least let her be on time!! Just don't want to be induced! although everyone is telling me that I'm huge and won't be waiting much longer - i honestly can't see it!!
I had reflexology last week - which was lovely. Another appointment this Thursday! Can't wait!!

I'm also insanley jealous that Sparkle had her boy early - but jealous in the best possible way!! I WANT MINE!!!!! there is only so much packing and repacking I can do of hospital bags!!!

Good evening. Well, it's manly weather round my way. Doesn't make dog walking very pleasant especially when nothing waterproof fits! DH has been doing most of it but I don't want to avoid walking too much. It's a toss up between making my kankles worse or festering on my backside.

Tons of labour vibes to Abbey, Apricot and all others who want them. Is it 38 weeks that we can start asking for them? I forsee mega tantrums if I go over!

4 more days of work - yay!

My little lad has got hiccups I think. I've never felt them before but it feels like I imagine it should if that makes sense?!

I'd better crack on with dinner.

Edit - ouch!! I think he's playing Kung Fu against my hip!

I've been asking since 37 weeks :o my MW said as long as I was 37 weeks I could use the birth pool as you're considered full term then! I even resorted to doing starjumps yesterday but I nearly wet myself so had to stop - the glamour of pregnancy eh?

:j Yay for 4 more days of work - don't strain yourself these last few days now, I think I stopped working at least a week before I actually finished! :rotfl:

Don't know if I could deal with reflexology smileyface I have a thing about people touching my feet lol - hope it gets things moving for you though!

My freezer and fridge are full to bursting after going shopping earlier and all I can think about is having a takeaway! Hmm might have to be nice to OH to get him to pay :D

    Happy last 4 days Doglover!!

Starjumps Apricot???? Lol, I honestly think i could probably do half hearted one and then just feel like i need to sit down!! Honestly, i feel useless!! Saturday night i could have easily had someone else feed me!! I just had no energy left in my arms to lift a knife or fork!! The reflexology was amazing! I too have a foot thing, hate people touching them, but it was so relaxing - could have stayed there all day!!

I need plans for tomorrow - last week i was busy everyday, today i have done nothing and almost pulled my hair out!!

It's not a regular occurance don't worry, I just had a sudden burst of energy and one of my friends told me that she did starjumps at 38 weeks and they sent her into labour so I thought it was worth a go! Obviously didn't work though as Im still here!

Tomorrow I shall mostly be batch cooking for the freezer so that we have some quick meals to eat when baby is here. I did buy everything today and was going to make a start but really cba now!

Also need to go and get my eyebrows threaded as I resemble a caterpillar at the moment :rotfl: - I paint such a pretty picture of myself don't I?
