    Morning all.

Congrats, there's been a couple over the weekend? I skimread, and have promptly forgotten everything I read.....

Eventful enough weekend. Didn't do much on Sat, then took DSD out to learn to park and reverse- she's 10, so only on land around the house, then out with a friend Sun evening to teach him how to drive..... I keep getting asked to teach people to drive as I'm a stickler for learning properly- I do shout if hands aren't positioned properly or gear changes are sloppy.....

Just back from haematologist as my blood platelet count was low. I have a recommendation to see a specialist who turns out to be a director of a Haemophilia Centre? Unsure whether that's good or bad- haematologist says she wants to monitor me and didn't seem to think there was any risk to Hitchhiker, though seemed to be hinting at a concern I would bruise or bleed badly during labour.

    Hello all

Many congratulations sparkle. Haven't checked the pics but am sure he's gorgeous

I'm back at work today after a week off relaxing. 4 weeks left until mat leave and I can't wait. I've had enough now! All along I've thought he'll probably arrived late but I'm suddenly feeling worried that something will happen early. No reason, I'm just being irrational. Hopefully my blase "oh I have ages to go and he'll def be late" attitude will return soon. I seem to have symptoms for every pregnancy ailment there is: clicky/achy/stiff pelvis, swollen feet, swollen hands, numb/tingling hands when I sleep, blood pressure creeping up, sharp pains in pubic bone when I've been sitting for a long time....I could go on. Thankfully nothing is too bad to warrant much moaning at the moment and it's all pretty mild, just annoying. 7ish weeks to go!

Have fun with your boyfriend and family Abby. My pelvis does a really loud clunky click when I turn over in bed. It really freaks me out.

Must book hospital tour this week and I think i heard they hire tens machines so will ask when I go.

I would have said that's a good thing, means you've got an experienced doctor :)

Afternoon all! Had a really good nights sleep but feel shattered and have a headache today - what's up with that??! Supposed to feel good after a lovely nights sleep! Off to the hospital later with DS2 to hopefully get his plastercast off. He had it re-plastered 2 weeks ago but it is disgustingly dirty again! Should be off completely today all being well - fingers crossed!

I hate plastercasts! All 3 of my older ones have broken an arm, one of them has broken both :o hopefully they will take his off today for you.

none of mine have ever broken a bone.. I broke my wrist once falling off my bike.. 3 WEEKS later when I went to hospital it was healing ok so they didn't bother with a cast..

Thanks Delain! Yeah, that's a nice positive angle....

Was laughing at Hobbit for playing up to his broken toe at the weekend. Promptly caused a shelf to collapse on myself (keep meaning to sort them) and I've three very bruised toes on the same foot- he's laughing at me now..... :)

Delain/ K, there's five in my house, and we must have been terrors for my parents. Local A&E dept knew us by name, every possible strain/break/accident has happened, and there were beads removed out of most of our noses or ears at some point- my younger sister panicked and thought that since she couldn't find the first one, she should shove more in her ear....... the week after, I got hit by a car....I'm actually wincing at some childhood memories and praying my child is nothing like we were....

It had pretty much healed 2 weeks ago but they wanted to protect it for another 2 weeks so re-plastered it. So it should come off today. My DS2 is 3 next month and I'm just surprised he hasn't broken a bone before now - he's a typical boy into everything!

Lirin - he put a bead up his nose the other week too! Bl00dy child!
