Alison- if you can't find a steamer, I have one, though a bucket of hot water and an old facecloth will work as well- just soak the wall for a few seconds. Sugarsoap can also help, but there's restrictions on using it during pregnancy. The fun I've had with our house- previous owners apparantly took the tack that they didn't need to lift anything in order to redecorate- our bathroom floor, for example, consisted of two layers of vinyl, parquet flooring (badly nailed together as they apparantly couldn't just slot it) and two layers of carpet.....
Will get there with the wood chip. I'm just not a patient person and it takes !!!!!!! ages! Thanks for the advice! It might be worth us buying a steamer actually as there is lots of wallpaper id like gone from the house.
At least all this effort will burn off the large starbucks and croissant I had this morning to perk me up.First Baby born January 2007

Can I ask a completely random question? Hoping you all don't think I'm completely nuts- according to DH I'm fairly normal.
Um- I hear a baby gurgle occasionally- extremely occasionally, as I've heard it twice in three weeks. Thing is, I work in an office building- everyone has to pass me, so I'd know if there were any babies in here.....
Am I nuts, am I hearing an actual baby, whether inside me or no, or is my boss trying to wind me up by playing baby noises? If he is, I will get him back.....0 -

Unless maybe there are some open windows somewhere, and you can hear a noise coming in from outside, i smell wind up.
I vote you wait till you and your boss are alone and then "go into labour"......Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I've a funny feeling it's my boss messing around- would be par for the course.....Next couple of days will be fun.... Will maybe start acting batty.....
The labour idea- that's a good one, think I'll save it though for now- there's a few possibilities with it.....0 -

Could be a wind up or just something making a similar noise, tho can't think what. Maybe the pregnant hormones are starting to kick in and you are getting sensitive to baby noises. Maybe someone has it as their ringtone?First Baby born January 2007

Sounds like a wind up to me Lirin, pretty good one too lol
Alison - I picked up a wallpaper stripper in B&Q at the weekend for a tenner, worked a treat on our woodchip that had been painted with about 3 layers of gloss paint...
I actually got a full nights sleep last night, had forgotten what that feels like! Need to pop to the chemist and pick up my antibiotics to shake off this UTI and then maybe, just maybe, I won't be quite such an evil harpy over the weekend :rotfl:0 -
Are these maternity ones or are you buying wired ones? TBH I'm not fussed as to whether I wear wires or not as long as they aren't too tight and give me support. I was a 28E before I got pregnant and have no idea what I am now. I can't normally find 28s anyway so always go for 30 rib size.
28E shouldn't be physically possible, I'm convinced your lying.
I was a 34 C and going by the amount of extenders on my 38 DD I probably am wearing the equivlent to a 48! My ribcage has gone BOOM and also its the shape of my bump, im 38 weeks and its kinda flat but goes up far. Poor robsMoney money money.
