I don't suppose anyone has one of these console vouchers that they don't plan to use do they? I visited out local store and couldn't see any magazines or booklets; or did these not originate from the stores?

    Thanks,

    iecuk

It was a booklet of vouchers that you had to buy from Blockbusters for £25.00 & it contains vouchers for the follow:

    10 film rental vouchers
money off popcorn, choccies & drinks vouchers
£2 off when you buy The Golden Compass, Bee Movie, Sweeney Todd or Cloverfield
£4 off when you buy Skins Series 2, Prison Break Series 3 or Dexter Series 1
    £3 off a blu-ray movie
** £10 off any new Games Console **
£2.50 off a new DS or Wii game
Save £1.50 when you rent any 2 games x 3

    hth :D
  • Anyone No How A Can Get A Nintendo Wii For The Lowest Price, I No Some Phone Companys Give Them Away With Contracts But What Is The Cheapest Way Any One No ??

There is no cheap way. The Wii is heavily in demand, and hence there's not going to be price cuts any time soon. No-one's going to give you one for nothing - the cost of most mobile phone contracts that include a free Wii tend to be much more than the cost of the Wii itself. So don't change contracts just for the sake of getting a Wii.

So far, the cheapest the Wii has been was £159 in certain branches of Argos. And there may have been a one off offer on Amazon a while back, but you're not going to get one cheaper than that.

Demand has falling slightly, it will probably pick up at the end of the year on the run into Xmas, but you can get a Wii pretty easily in most stores.

As stated (and Nintendo have said) there is such demand there will be no price cuts yet, and also they will not be doing them in different colours yet (like the DS) there is such demand for the regular white Wii there is no need to do anything else to make it sell.

Though generally true, there is always an exception to the rule, especially if you can get a deal with a free, in demand, handset that you are prepared to sell on. I did a deal with Mobiles 2 Your Door last year and after selling the phone, Quidco and cashback it worked out that the Wii I got cost nothing. Coming to the end of that contract now so I'm looking for a similar PS3 deal :)

What do you reckon about the Wii being difficult to get hold of this Christmas? I think Nintendo can make it third year running with their imaginative approach to retail supply.

i just got a bit of a bargain on ebay. if you keep watching you can probably pick one up with games & accessories, for the same price as just a new wii.

Thanks to all competition posters :T

No need to be unkind. He/she is just asking where to get cheap wii from. It is a moneysaving site , not the mensa site so i think we should give other people a break .

OP try ebay or your local paper , but you will have to be quick as i think the school holidays will make them in high demand again.
  • Can anyone let me know a good cheap place to get wii accessories from and do they have to be 'original' ?

Is anyone else having trouble with the GAME.co.uk order tracker?

I tried to log into it last night and again this morning and it just doesn't load! Does that mean they are updating it at their end or is it just unreliable?

I've only successfully got into it twice in 5 days.

I'm kind of excited about my wii console plus wii fit and just want to know when it will arrive.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!
