Hi. I'm looking to buy a nintendo wii but i am on a bit of a budget. I don't mind buying it 2nd hand. Does anyone know where the best deals are? Would really appreciate your help.

hi just brought one myself, best deal i could find on a new one was instore at zavvi.

WII and any Game £200 WII and any two games £220

Or if you just want the console shopto.net have it for £170

My brother is looking for a Wii bargain and asked if I could ask if anyone on here knew where to get one. So this is me asking, lol. We've tried looking online but everyone seems to be selling at the same price and without any extra game pads or whatever they are called...

If your brother wants a bargain he should consider looking for a second hand Wii.

I don't know where you are, but if in London check out gumtree. I got a second hand Wii from an advert posted there with lots and lots of extras. Brand new with everything I got it would have been over £400, but I only paid £180! :T

Obviously insist on seeing the Wii being used to check it all works....

I got my wii free with a new mobile phone contract (http://www.buymobilephones.net/) and I didn't have to wait ages for it. I also went through quidco for £20 cash back, got £30 cash back from the company itself and sold the new phone (as I liked my old one) for £87 on ebay which gave me some money for the controller and games.

I am considering buying Wii, but I don't really know what I need. Ok, so I do need console. If I want to play with friends - do I need extra controllers or nunchucks? Are there any bundles with Wii fit as I am interested in getting that (I know I am not going to get fit with it, but it looks like a good fun!). How much should I be looking a spending?

I think I got a good deal today from Blockbusters. I paid £179.95 for the Wii console & Wii sports game, sports accessories, Beach Party game & a frizbee plus I had a £10 off voucher from their booklet of vouchers bringing the cost down to £169.95

I don't suppose anyone has one of these console vouchers that they don't plan to use do they? I visited out local store and couldn't see any magazines or booklets; or did these not originate from the stores?
