Wii's are around £179.99 but I don't no about any good packages. However, they are still pretty hard to get hold of on the high street.0

has anyone heard of the Nintendo Wii being sold as a package with the Wii fit board?
I can't really justify spending £250 quid!
I don't really play computer games much!
shame they can't make a wii board for pc's and Macs!!!

After my weekend at a 'friend's house' I played on a Wii loads and am completely sold on one. I wanna buy one.
That is all. Anyone know which is the best place to buy on the highstreet, I am suspecting there are no amazing deals as they are still so sought after."I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -
Hi everyone
I've never played a Wii before, but they look like fun and a great idea for keeping fit. Probably doesn't beat actually going out and doing some real exercise, I suspect, but a bonus nonetheless.
I'm interested in getting one and have a few questions.
1) this might sound dumb, but I take it I need a Nintendo Wii in order to use 'Wii Fit'?
2) assuming that's a 'yes', am I better off buying this as a bundle or indiviudally? will the best deal I get be for a Wii and Wii Fit as a package? I'd also be interested in getting some energetic games - I assume this largely means the sports games - perhaps things like boxing, tennis, etc. (what other games in this line are good?)
Again, would I be best looking for a bundle that sells the whole thing as one package, rather than trying to get the best prices on these items indivdually?
Thanks for any help...0 -
Yes you need the Wii console and the balance board.
Deals are few and far between.
You could try this website which checks availability.

Hi there, hope I can be of some help.
1) Yes, you need a Wii console to play Wii fit.
2) It really does depend. By now, you could buy a second-hand Wii, cos a lot of people will already have got bored with it (shame on them!). So if you can get a wii console quite cheap, then you should do that and buy wii fit on it's own. However if you don't like the idea of a second-hand console, then there are plenty of shops that do bundle offers, and a lot will be including wii fit at the moment. My advice would be to look online aswell as in the high street.
Oh, and if you buy the wii console new, it comes with wii sports. This has tennis, boxing, golf, bowling and baseball included on it.
There is also a new game out called beach sports, I've not played it, but I guess that would be one of the more active games. It has had a few poor reviews, but I think it looks fun!0 -
I have a wii and got the sports game as well as part of the package.I also have other games but nearly always use the sports one cos it gives me a good workout playing tennis, baseball etc and its more fun, for me anyway.0
