    Hello All,

What extras should one get with a WII, I am looking to get one for the family so will need to get multiple controllers.

I have had such a varied response to some of these questions from high street stores - I had better ask the experts...

    What is a nunchuck?
Do I need a charging station?
    Any good family games?
How many Memory cards do I need - one per controller?

I would like to connect up to a plasma tv, do I need a special cable?

    Thanks

I bought on this week, the basic bundle which comes with Sports, one controller and one nunchuk (£179.99). I also bought WII play which comes with a free controller (£39.99) and an extra nunchuk (£14.99).

As for prices, I believe that the WII is going to be a similar thing to the Nintendo DS, in that the price has stabilised (at around the £95 to £99 for the DS)

What is a nunchuck? an add on for the main controller, used for boxing in WII sports. Also useful in "fighting" type games like Zelda
Do I need a charging station? If you use rechargable batteries it may be handy, but not essential.
Any good family games? You can't beat MarioKart, Wii Play has small easy(ish) games for multiple players.
How many Memory cards do I need - one per controller? Again, this is a non essential extra, you probably will need one at some date but not immediately

I would like to connect up to a plasma tv, do I need a special cable?

You should be able to connect via a scart socket,
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow.. :p

Thats not a good deal. Basic console is £179. Sonic Tennis is £15 in Asda. So £194 and thats not an offer, just the price
 If I say something you like....Please hit the thanks button

i'd say the offer on gamestation.co.uk

    £230

    wii
wii sports game (the 5 sports one, tennis bowling golf baseball & boxing)
    mario kart + wheel
    additional controller
    additional wheel

on the front page of the site click on the mario kart option, and have a look there.

I think that's the correct package, if i've included everything correctly?! i can't check it right now.
    cheers

Thanks for this Eeek! I went for this offer as it seemed the best round. I added the bundle to my basket, and with the £4.95 delivery it came to £235. It took around 5 days to arrive and I got it on Tuesday. But when it arrived the Mario Kart + wheel were missing. I called them and they said that basically what had happened is that when I placed my order the Mario Kart was not in stock...so the website simply added the other items without warning me. So I paid full price for the other items, which came to approximately the same amount, hence me not noticing that the deal I ordered was not what had been placed in my basket. As a Wii novice I never noticed! I told the person I spoke to that this was totally unacceptable, and eventually he promised to speak to someone and call me back this afternoon either way. I never received the call so will have to call back tomorrow.

It is a good deal, but I recommend double checking your basket!!
