I am going out later to buy OH a Wii for his birthday. I think Zavvi is doing the best deal at the moment. Do I need an extra contoller? and if so is this the one that is priced close to £15?0
-
I would advise another control, but it is the remote that you primarily want - If you check the back of the game boxes, in the top right hand corner there's a blue bar that tells you how many players can play, and what they need. 99% require at least remotes. The one prices at around £15 is the nunchuck - A lot of games need this but some don't. I would advise getting both, if you can afford it - But shop around for the best deal. I picked up a new nunchuck at Tescos for £12. The cheapest I could find in-store. :PSealed Pot Challenge! Aim; £100 Currently £11.61£2 Saving Club; Aim; £200 Currently £0

Big Brain Academy £15.79 free delv. (dvd.co.uk)

Pre-ordered:
Mario Karts inc. wheel £27.20 + £1.75 delv. (littlewoodsdirect.com)
Wii Fit inc. balance board £55.20 + £1.75 delv. (littlewoodsdirect.com) Expected delivery date 6th May (but Mario Karts wasn't expected to be delivered till 17th & it arrived today so Wii Fit might turn up a few days earlier too!)
Decided the only other things I need are an extra nunchuck & a LAN adapter to get online.
Everything arrived REALLY quickly!! Only waiting on Wii Play & Wii Fit (but not released yet I know). Earnt over £16.00 on Quidco and paid on a Tesco credit card so earnt clubcard points to turn into Deal vouchers too!!
A lot of money to spend but well worth it!!
Nearly killed me the first day of playonly down side... I now don't get anything else done!! :rotfl:

Have a look on the grabbit board as lots of wii threads on there incl fit & mario.
Quidco, a lot of places don't give on the main wii purchase but they do on the games & accessories.
I am sure an expert will be along soon!

Hi,
I have no idea about the wii but
I want to buy my husband one for his birthday, which is in 2 weeks time. I want to be able to purchase a package that has everything in to be able to just plug-in and play. Can anyone tell me of any good deals and packages.
Thankyou, in advance.

i'd say the offer on gamestation.co.uk
£230
wii
wii sports game (the 5 sports one, tennis bowling golf baseball & boxing)
mario kart + wheel
additional controller
additional wheel
on the front page of the site click on the mario kart option, and have a look there.
I think that's the correct package, if i've included everything correctly?! i can't check it right now.
