Depends what you want and type of games you like.

Gamestation are doing one £219. Wii + any game (we got Sonic & Mario Olympics) + one game from selected list . As one of the games was one the kids wanted (Raving rabbids 2) we went for that.
  • Hi all,

I'm fairly knew to the games console thing. I was talking to one of the mom's at school today and they recently bought a Nintendo WII for the family. Apparently she plays tennis and other games on it. Does anyone know how much these are? I would be interested in buying it with atleast two games. The sports selection and perhaps the Dora/Diego game?

Please post any offers you have seen here? What about money off codes?

    Thanks everyone.

I don't know if it's a good time to buy a Wii, with the 360 about to become cheaper (£169.99). I imagine the competition will improve their bundles towards the quiet summer period and in reaction to the 360 price drop. Summer time is normally good for buying consoles, because there are few new releases and customer foot fall reduces.
  • So I went to buy a wii on Easter Sunday and all the shops were closed which stopped my impluse buying. But I am going to get one this week.

Where is the best place to buy one online?

    Many thanks :j
  • Did you try Woolworths? They had some in store yesterday.

I've been looking at the Wii & want it for the sports & Wii Fit, but it’s been YEARS since I had a games console & I'm confused about the accessories!

So far on my shopping list I have:
    Console with Wii Sports
    Wii Fit (on pre-order)
    Wii Play with extra remote
Sports Pack (Tennis racket, golf club, snooker cue etc.)
    Remote Charger
    SD Card
    Boxing Gloves

This lot seems to come to an average of about £315  Do I need everything on the list or am I going OTT?? Worse still have I missed anything??

you don't need the sports pack, SD card or boxing gloves to play the games
as for the remote charger I manage fine with my usuall rechargable battries.
I'd save your money to buy another game,
