Thanks for all the replies - I'm either going to have to go to Robert Dyas or one of those and get a heavy duty roaster tin or get those silicone baking sheets from Poundland. I did try a similar approach with foil but surprise surprise bits of the foil came off when I shook them about.

    Tins for me too.

If you're roasting spuds, surely you've got quite a bit of oil in the tin so they shouldn't be sticking?

    Hi MsDee

There is a previous thread - quality roasting and baking trays, so I will add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together. It starts off as a discussion about trays, but enamel roasting dishes are also discussed :)

Also roasting tin I can use on the hob

I use a tray my Mum got me - i think it is an expensve one (of course), but it's brill and hob safe too

    Thanks
    Zip

Enamel - glass isn't hot enough quick enough and non stick comes off eventually.

Tomorrow, I am going to the gym (only pay £25 a month, my project for the next month is getting my a$$ a lot smaller):rotfl:

good luck with all your hopes and dreams

My soul bleeds a little every day to be honest with you ! I find it hard to get out of bed, i find it hard to motivate myself to exercise or go visit people and do things, and i generally find life is pretty tough to be honest with you.

Comfort eating - easy trap to get caught in, i know how you feel. I hope you sort something out soon.

Just remembered, this is the baking tray I have, which is hob safe and makes awesome Roasties! Cleans well too
