For once in my life I left my CC payment to be taken by DD and it's not worked  So now I have a £12 returned payment AND a £12 late payment. And I don't know why it's been returned either! GRR.

Had a break so I'll get back to it and do DD1's room now. Online shop should arrive in the next hour too so that'll no doubt lead on to a kitchen tidy up! Will be back to update my list in a previous post shortly.

    house is a MIDDEN

damp wiped some surfaces in DS's room last night and the sill in DD's. It is SNOTCITY here as the vallikids bothe have galloping hay fever. Well I assume that's what it is with DD becaus eshe has EXACTLY the same symptoms as DS and as me...so (because I have had a busy week) she is 'sharing' DS's meds until I can get her formally diagnosed (which will consist of me walking in, telling them what she's got and requesting additional meds...) I'm on cheapy Galpharm stuff from a shop in twon - 49p for a weeks's worth (bargain)s
so in 'allergy' bingo it's a full houue each
asthma, eczema and now hay fever

(but, fortunately asthma outgrown, eczema VERY mild)

anyway nephews birthday so off to deliver a card (via Morrisons to buy it - oops) then I sghall come home and sort my e bay

(((hugs)) for good intentions - agree re the chippy BTW

Lady Liberty - if you're looking in you're in my thoughts as is Toots x

Friday ~ Childrens Rooms, Spare rooms Or just neglected spaces!
    Done!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Girls rooms finished, shopping delivered and put away and fridge cleaned out:D Things are moving along nicely.

But I really need to stop for food now. Depending on how this headache goes I may need to put a halt to the flying for tonight too. It's feeling rather like a migraine as I'm starting to feel sickly too. The air pressure really affects me and its particularly bad today.

    Evening all

Sending you some 'get a grip', pigpen (after scooping out emergency rations for myself), but I'm not sure that's what's really needed. Some tlc sounds more like it.

Also thinking of you, LL and toots. Hope you are both ok. And uropachild and sunnygirl - hope you both feel better soon and have a good weekend.

I've had a week off work and I'm definitely feeling better than I was. I've not got much done, though. Monday and Tuesday I spent asleep and/or on the sofa. I did quite a lot of school stuff on Wednesday and DH took me out for a coffee yesterday, after an (unplanned) lie-in.

Today I managed to find all the missing bits to DS2's tech deck and tidied up the LR a bit. I also filled in an application form for DH and went to a card reading. Very interesting. Finally a quick trip to school to get ready for Monday and then it was time for DS2's swimming lesson. AF has arrived, so I'll have an early night with my book and a drink of something - probably tea.

I've got a bit of work to do for the weekend, but not much. Can't really do much planning without knowing what my classes have done. A bit of shopping for bargains on the market tomorrow, and I want to get out with DS2 if the weather is good. Maybe to the park.

Have a good weekend, everyone. x

ETA Have a good one, Max.

  • Hello everyone,

Well I've written off today - It started with OH saying, just as I was getting ready to leave for work, "oh, you'll have to follow me down to the garage, the car is booked in". Arghhh - late for work. Ate lots of sweets at work so diet out of window. Got home and house is like a bomb site, toys everywhere, children dressed in random clothes (as always when OH is responsible for dressing them). Taken me this long just to vaguely make it all look a bit tidier. So not a sausage done from the list. :(.
Never mind, there's always next week.

Pigpen, it may not work if it's thrush, but have you tried Metanium cream for sore bums? DD2 suffers with terrible nappy rash occasionally to the point where it bleeds. This stuff clears it up in no time. Ps hope you have now got some 'get a grip' and are feeling a bit better.x

    Have a good weekend everyone:)

Oh great. A whole thread to spur me on and some kind people to think of the logistics and routine for me. I have no excuse now though huh?

Next Monday, I shall be amongst you getting my house in tip top condition
living a solvent, chic and fulfilled life on a shoestring... a threadbare shoestring _pale_ :undecided
