  • Finally sent off my mitigating circs form  Should've been in over a week ago...

Woke up at 3am with tooth pain :( is it that time of year or something?
I guess I'll have to make a trip to the nasty nasty man when I go back to my university town in a few weeks. :( hate dentists with a passion.

Shall have to do a HHC of my bedroom sometime this morning I think. I'm getting close to my 'can't be bothered to do anything' state which is never good :(

My HHC ran over by quite a bit, but:

    DW and WM on
two lots of towels folded and away
all non-iron stuff folded and either put away or waiting for DS1/DH
last bag from holiday unpacked and stuff put away/in the wash

Ironed shirts transferred from downstairs, but I forgot about the stack of trousers in our bedroom, so they'll need to be done later.

I'll have 15min flinging in the LR until the next lot can go in the washer - then I'll make a coffee and get in the bath. :D Must make it into our little town centre before the library closes, as some books are well overdue. :o

Come and join me in a QHC (quarter hour challenge) to get started, Frittered Away. My timer's on for 15 min. x

Thanks, valli. Best pass on some bits and pieces to NN's son. :D

I've done a few more odd jobs (thanks for the company, Frittered Away), but the washer still isn't quite done. I'll start the bath and make the coffee, so I can get straight once I've pegged the laundry out. Don't think we'll make the library... :o

Uropachild - you can take codeine preparations - you can get 8mg over the counter - this link explains it all - they suggest that you take the smallest effective dose for the shortest possible time to minimise the low risk of side effects http://www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/pdfs/Analgesia_and_Breastfeeding_March_2010.pdf

had a quick whip through this morning - jsut getting WM on, the sky has suddenly darkened so I won't be hanging it out. kitchen floor is in a desperate state - I may break out the hoover :D

  • Dare I tell you all I am on my second lot of washing today - on the line - no rain here!! ... well not yet bit cloudly and getting darker but fingers crossed it will wait a hour or two LOL But boy did it rain last night.
Flying has gone out of the window - got a huge shock this week one of the mums at school broke her leg and died in her sleep - dvt suspected - poor daughter one parent family and is only 10 my dd's school friend - she is currently with her grandparents. Doesn't bear thinking about she was only 32 says goodbye to her daugther in the morning and passes away before she came home from school. Tragic what with that and Chris(HYder) made me think life's too short enjoy your family while you can, you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Up to that point wasn't doing too bad in the house - it will still be there next week and I am back to just 2 days work a week, and planning/buying stuff for dd's birthday party she is 13 on thursday. Where did that 13 years go.....
Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

  • MrsChaos - thanks for motivating me! :o I did my floordrobe (wasn't much to do) but have also had a HHC on myself! :D feeling a bit better now.

Uropachild - if you do take any codeine then please do make sure you also take anti-constipation measures. :o It can be really REALLY awful :o
