    Good morning

Hope your tissue consumption has slowed down a bit, pigpen. You're not pathetic at all - with all the pressures you're dealing with, something has got to give sometime!

    Have a great holiday, fedup.

I spent some time watching TV with DS1 last night and then read for a while. Had a good night, too, without waking up every few hours. I feel like tackling a big job, like the back yard, but I know I'd be overdoing it, so....

    Plan for today:
    pottering this morning
    lunch and bath
    plan teas for the weekend
trip into town with DS2 (food and father's day stuff)
    more pottering or school work

Have a good Saturday, everyone. x

    Anyone know where Dusty is?

    Happy travels Fedup x

It's raining today but why wouldn't it, it's the weekend. Been to shop for gas/elec and bacci and the garage for Petrol so purse now £60 lighter *whimpers* it takes ages to earn and at a back breaking pace and it's gone in less than 10 mins, isn't it soul destroying. Still, at least I had it, I didn't at one time :T

Been up since the crack *yawn* so am a bit bored now, changed the litter tray and fed Lily, loaded the DW and sorted out the fridge. Might do the bathroom today as I've got a new mat to put in it, can't put a new mat in a dirty bathroom lol, need to write Fathers Day card and wrap pressie today too and then whatever takes my fancy.

Piggers I suspect its hormonal, you aren't normally the sort to fall apart, also probably tired, but I think the weather at the moment has something to do with it. I am ultra irritable, bad tempered and fed up, things that normally don't bother me at all are really getting on my nerves

    Its raining again

We are expecting the royal visit from DD and the new BF, it seems she has decided that she can bring him over to see us and risk his horrified reaction at how her parents live:eek: she may be surprised at the changes.

ooh a visit from DD... Don't foret to say 'how lovely to meet you, please excuse the mess it is usually much worse than this' when you answer the door lol

It's actually only rained a couple of times in the ast few weeks here.. yesterday as the chimps were going tohis the heaves opened but other than that it's been dry.

I managed about 2.5 hours sleep between Squeak coughing, me coughing waking in a blind panic because I was on my own and us getting up at 8

    Morning all
just waiting for wash 2 to finish then I can put wash 3 in, checking e bay (need to know what to opost) and off to shower

I have loads to do. Kids not at their dads because he's gone on a Sun holiday (apparently they could have gone but were at school...) but DS is is Short Bird Land/Sarahshatteredland (for those who remember her) (Brum) as his team are playing in some sort of 6-a-side knockout. They have gone in a taxi and went at 6:30  they organised it themselves... apparently it was cheaper than the train...

washload 3 in - off to shower...

house is still a midden by the way - no room cleaned at all don't know where to start...

yes I do - I'll start where I always do - bathroom then kitchen...

Anyone for a HHC 10-10.30? DS2 and I have had breakfast, so it's time to get moving (rather than admiring Steve Backshall on TV). Lots of clothes and towels to put away.
  • Morning all,

Just being a lazy mare and lounging around at the moment with the sun streaming in through the windows. All splats are snoring again, having caught one burgularising the huge bag of cat crunchies I omitted to put in the cupboard yesterday - at 3am. Another one decided I was his best friend in the world forever every hour or so last night, which meant he kept on throwing himself at my ribs for lots of purrs and miaows and dribbles _pale_. He nearly became the UK's furthest flying cat by 5am.

Piggers, I felt lost when the DDs started going off to KHs at the same time. I probably blubbed a bit, too (but don't tell anyone that), but I did pretty much become accustomed to it fairly quickly. I do still get the 'meh' days where I am bored, lonely and feeling pointless, though. It's not going to happen often for you, so it can feel really horrid - especially when you have been under so much stress for so long, and when other people are being thoughtless, objectionable or simply detestable where you are concerned.

Try and think of it as an opportunity to not have to deal with anything or anyone else - a chance to take time and do something you can't do when there are 9 other people demanding time, money, attention, help, food, refereeing, heads banging together or marshalling into cleaning up. At the moment it seems like the thing you can't do the rest of the time is have a blub as that would mean being seen with a weakness and maybe feeling like your authority would be compromised?

Well, balls to the lot - even you could do with not being quite so tough at times and you are quite entitled to wail and gnash your teeth sometimes.

Eat lots of food you like, let Squeak do stuff you wouldn't let the rest get away with at that age and then go and boil up those naughty boingy bunnies for tea!

    xxx
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Morning all :)
I always seem to return on a Saturday - more time I expect :) This week I have been pottering but mainly going to work inbetween back and forth to dentist and fighting a really nasty tooth infection - still fighting it although it is starting to get better, (the saga started nearly two weeks ago). I'm on 2 lots of antbiotics and painkillers - have never felt so much damn pain in my life! So have been going to work, coming home and doing the basics, eating food,(have to line stomach before medication or risk stomach ulcer, owch) and then going straight to bed and get to sleep before the pain becomes unbearable. Sorry to sound so woe is me but that has been my week.

uropachild - hope you're feeling better hunny and I know exactly what you mean - I have been dreaming of pain too, it's blinkin horrible :(

ubamother - I used to take pictures of the mess in my house all the time before clearing it and the satisfaction I felt afterwards was brilliant! I'm going to start doing that again - thanx for reminding me :D

I haven't looked at list yet but have some things I need to do today which include:
    Shower and dress
    [STRIKE]Feed animals[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Feed family breakfast[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Post Office[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Library[/STRIKE]
Sort some brochures and deliver them
    Sort lunch
    2 Loads of washing
    Dry washing
    Iron washing
Look at list and do as many levels 1's as poss to catch up :)

Thank you to pigpen, toots and asbo and hopefully I will be joining in properly from Sunday evening :)

    Hugs and love everyone x

If you can I would hun x

I'm only so pathetic because OH isn't here either.. just me and Squeak.. and she ha the runs.. probably caused by the medicine TBH but it isn't nice when her poor bum is red raw and I am certain she has thrush too. I need to go order Moomins prescription so I'll get her some cream while there, they have a minor ailments thing :D

I appear to be vaguely human at the moment so will change Squeak again and we'll head off before she does another nappy!
