I would have paid a 'reasonable' 'fine'.... say £25.
They are trying ( and in my case, failing) to profiteer from this.

What I do for a living is totally irrelevant and has nothing at all to do with the content of ths thread.

It is totally relevant. I can assume by your reluctance to answer the question that you were perfectly aware that it was private land and you should not have parked there.
