work and jury duty

no prearranged time off, work for a large company so there is always cover, am sure now maximum payment is £56 pounds per week for jury duty ( third of what i earn for weekend shift) so will be losing our on money if not working but prepared to do so in order to get a break,

If you take the time off without your employer agreeing I suspect you may free up your weekends permanently.

You're not going to be on Jury duty at the weekend when you work so they're not refusing you time off for Jury duty.

did you click on the link i have provided? it is recommended by hmcs that they do not work weekends if they do not have a break or jury service in 7 days, fail to see what you do not understand about this
