Waiting for a proposal - how did you stay sane?!

Eeee! Congratulations daisiegg!
:j :T
Glad to hear about those who are having nice Valentine's Days, and hope that they improve for others where they haven't been great so far.
Mine has been OK - I left my OH's card and a cup of tea next to the bed for him before I went to work (I leave the house earlier than he does and always make him a brew for when he gets up) but nothing in return as yet. We agreed to have a night out rather than doing presents so are going out to an Argentinian steak restaurant on Friday night and then going for cocktails afterwards. I'm not expecting a proposal tonight - indeed I can't see one happening in the next few months, not sure why but just a feeling I have - although it would be nice, but most likely it'll just be a normal Tuesday..."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
I know what you mean.
A colleague (and his UK best friend) of ours proposed to his girlfriend on valentines day last year and I said to my manager 'ahh they've been engaged a year today' and they said when are you gonna get engaged? I was like I dunno, whenever he decides! Then she said that she thinks I'll be pregnant before that happens...
Dunno what that meansxxx

I don't want kids til I'm marriedIt's probably because her daughter did (she then got married and is already divorced and only 22!) I think I have a bit more of a plan than her daughter... weird! xxx
