My friend is doing Psych and Crim at uni :) she enjoys it a lot.

I am feeling so pants today. I'm STILL waiting to hear back from my job interview (it's been nearly two weeks!) and it's really getting to me. I'm trying not to give in to the miserableness cos I know OH is feeling it too on my behalf and we're going out for dinner tonight. I just feel like going to bed and waking up in a week when they might finally have got round to emailing me :o

    Hi all

I am on y phone again, so it won't let me quote.

Anyway OH has redeemed himself big time in last few hours. Friend has gone out for rest of the day. We went shopping for our fav dinner and when I opened the boot to put in shopping there were 2 bunches of flowers and a teddy in the boot. Very happy girlfriend :D I would have just been happy with friend out of the way, but dont tell him that haha. He had stuff.in the boot since yesterday as he knew I would open it to put in shopping - so sweet!

I am studying and open uni degree I started with criminology and psychology, but didn't enjoy the psychology so am now doing criminology with childhood studies. I would like to work in youth justice at some point in future.

I am glad that he has redeemed himself!! Your course sounds interesting. I work with female offenders and keep meaning to look at OU courses.

Sorry to hear your having a pants day and that you haven't heard back. It's rubbish and I am hearing it from a lot of people. I hope a nice meal out will cheer you up.

I got a lovely card that was far more tasteful than I would usually get - It just said 'I Love You' on it and a little bag of chocs. He is also taking me to my fave Thai restaurant tonight. It will be all lovely but all I really want is to be engaged!!

I got really upset last night-He was out so I put on the 'Marriag Proposal' programme which I had taped (not the don't tell the bride on ebut the one from the night before) and ended up in tears. BF came back from the gym and I was grumpy!!:o

Sorry to hear about any disappointing Valentines Days. Hope they make it up to you!!! (Stupid boys)

Aww Eleanor, why do we do it to ourselves?! I was so jealous of those people on that programme!

Our time will come... but I don't know when :) xxx

I know- I loved the flashmob choir one and wanted to tell my Mum about it as she is in a really good choir but then I knew I'd get the sympathetic look regarding the subject of the programme and then the 'are you sure he's going to do it? Is he afraid of commitment?' questions which I will scream at!!! I knew it would be self-torture when I turned it on and nearly cracked open a bottle of wine!!

    I know what you mean.

A colleague (and his UK best friend) of ours proposed to his girlfriend on valentines day last year and I said to my manager 'ahh they've been engaged a year today' and they said when are you gonna get engaged? I was like I dunno, whenever he decides! Then she said that she thinks I'll be pregnant before that happens...

Dunno what that means :/ xxx
