lil_miss_insanity...I did not mean to imply that anyone was shirking work or anything! sorry, hope I didn't offend. I'm sure we all work very hard and are absolutely entitled to the odd glance at this thread! :)

Oh no I was justifying it to myself more than anything! No offence taken at all! *I am not a naughty skiver, I am not a naughty skiver* :A

Oooh nice place. I've wanted to stay there. Do you know John Barrowman, the actor? He got married there to his boyfriend in 2006 and (well at least in 2006, not sure about now) he lives in the block of flats you can see on the right.

Oh jtr that is so very pretty! It's really similar to my mum's engagement ring but hers is a ruby in the middle. So lovely!
  • Well I've had an interesting day so far....

Had a day off from work so have been having a bit of a pamper session.....hairdressers and then some nice nails (well you never know when youre going to have to show your hands off!)

anyway so i got home and OH was asking if we were still planning on going to town tomorrow (we go most weekends) and when I said yes, dont see why not, he said great, will you come and have a look at some jewellers with me!!!!!!!

He said he has been looking at rings but doesnt want to choose something all by himself in case he gets it wrong so he wants me to go and select a few that I like at the shops. I said about the one that I posted above and he said ' are you sure you like that one best, its ONLY £350!!! I just laughed out loud, and told him that he didnt need to spend more than that but he has insisted we go and look at the antique jewellers in town tomorrow as he wants me to have something unique (he knows I adore vintage!)

He said if I see something he would go back and get it later so i wouldnt get to wear it until he actually asked me but surely if I've been to choose it he cant keep me waiting that long......

Only thing is I've got a bit of a poorly cat and we probably will end up having to stay in and look after her so might not even get into town!! That would be so frustrating - thinking of asking my dad to catsit for a bit just so we can get out!!

    EXCITING :T:T:T:T:T
