Yep I'm sure the flying will do it! lol. Aww that's lovely...2 Jaguars my goodness! I think my OH would be very jealous of that.

Lol yes, he brought the other one last month, it's old (M reg) so a classic car but he adores it. Can't put both Jags on the drive though as they are so damn long! I am happy with my baby Clio :D

Yep fingers crossed it will be the flying that does it... also arranged a 'party' at ours on Saturday with all our friends and my family (who love him muchly) which he doesn't know about either...

    xxx

Lol M reg is not THAT old (my first car was a K reg and I only got rid of a P reg 2 years ago...), very nice :) You sound like you're doing all the right things, I'm sure he knows what a catch you are. On that note, does anyone else feel really like they need to be perfect all the time while waiting for a damn proposal, like not wanting to do anything that might discourage him from making the move?

I do to an extent...and one of my best friends who is also expecting the ring this year is really bad, there are a few things about their current living situation that she is REALLY unhappy with but when I tell her to speak to him about it she just says "I'm going to wait until I've got the ring on my finger first!" lol

Oh I know it's not that old ;) but it's not like he has 2 new ones :D thank god! We can use the classic one as a wedding car ;)

As for discouragement, I don't know, I try to make sure I help around the house (by help I mean cook, clean do the washing and ironing lol) I guess the only thing I try to do is not mention the fact that I want to marry him every single day (just every other day! :rotfl:) in case he gets bored! xxx

I think if my OH was going to leave me he would have done it by now! I can be a right nagging b*atch sometimes hehe :o But he has his issues too, which I deal with. One of the main things that makes me know he'll do it *eventually* is that nobody else would put up with either of us! :rotfl:

In all seriousness though, he's the one who never tells me when he's annoyed or upset with me. Doesn't want to rock the boat. I hope he isn't harbouring secret doubts...:(

    Hey all,

Wow I've been trying to read and catch up and boy do ya love to chat!! I love it!

Thanks so much to everyone replying it's nice to know you don't feel alone and everyone is so lovely in their replies!!

I'm so bad with names but whoever said about me giving a lot of hints ha ha soooo true!! I felt like all I talked about was it but he is so "intelligent" yet not people clever so hinting anything to him is almost impossible I have to say things straight out and I didn't want to say it...welluntil I cracked while we were away! lol!!

I'm so excited for those going away I hope you all have a wonderful time and i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for ya!! I have a feeling there'll be so many proposals on Valentines day this year....I think the guys might be too frightened that if they don't the girls will be doing it on the 29th Feb!! lol!! Plus it seems like theres a lot of love in the air at the moment... it may also be I've a thing about the number 13 but maybe people wouldn't want to propose in 2013...(may just be me though I really hate that number lol have since I was little can't even sit in the cinema in that seat!!)

Hope you're all ok!! Gonna go and read as much as I can now gonna have to read daily to keep up it seems!! he he!

    Mwah Maz Xx

Hi mazy, welcome back! This thread is moving right fast the last few days, it's becoming very difficult to keep up from my iphone without OH seeing what I'm reading over my shoulder lol :A

I think that might have been me that mentioned the hinting, have you toned it down since? :rotfl:

The number 13 is my lucky number so I would love to get married next year! Although it doesn't leave me much time for planning and paying for it seeing as there's no proposal in sight :o

That's why I'm getting a bit wishful-bride-zilla and have got a head start on the saving and planning! *hides*

Lol lil_miss_insanity what a good idea! I haven't quite gone that far but every day I think about getting a head start on the wedding diet. I will want to get married as soon as humanly possible once we get engaged so it won't leave much time to lose 3 stone...so I really should start now. Well, tomorrow. Or maybe next week...

Eek I feel really behind. The whole wedding thing scares me. If I could just wave a magic wand and be married, that would do me - I just want to be his wife, I think I'll find planning a wedding really stressful! But the losing weight thing is my main concern, there will be a pretty white dress involved one way or another and I don't want to look like a beached whale on the day :(
