But he has his issues too, which I deal with. One of the main things that makes me know he'll do it *eventually* is that nobody else would put up with either of us! :rotfl:
In all seriousness though, he's the one who never tells me when he's annoyed or upset with me. Doesn't want to rock the boat. I hope he isn't harbouring secret doubts...:(
Glad I am not the only one. I can be awful at times, really nasty, I don't mean to be and apologise loads after. I think for me it is lack of confidence and then I panic, get all defensive and be nasty to pretend that I don't care afterall :rotfl: My OH calls it my princess side - love the way he glams it up for me :rotfl: In my defense a little tho, I do, do majority of all the cleaning, cooking, shopping, etc..0 -
I haven't practised my new signature but I have worried about how it will impact at work - I'm a teacher, and one of the deputy heads is not only Mrs *my future last name* but has almost the same first name as me! And as at work in email addresses, documents, etc, we are known as our first initial and first two letters of last time e.g. John Smith would be JSM, I'm worried that they won't let me be my new name at work because there will be two of us0

Eek I feel really behind. The whole wedding thing scares me. If I could just wave a magic wand and be married, that would do me - I just want to be his wife, I think I'll find planning a wedding really stressful! But the losing weight thing is my main concern, there will be a pretty white dress involved one way or another and I don't want to look like a beached whale on the day
Awww that's super cute! Mr Daisie... marry her damn it! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
Just out of interest, how are we all posting on here in the middle of a weekday?! I have been signed off work for a month with nerve damage in my head (OUCH) and would be going insane without MSE forums - what's everyone else's excuse?0

I'm not gonna lie, this is in my head daily...
I write down all the things I want to have at my wedding, how much they will cost, colours, flowers everything... crazy huh...
stupid question but who's practiced their signature with their 'new' last name?! lol
Not tried yet, but did think about it yesterday! It's good that I'm not the only crazy one! At least by doing that, I've worked out that it isn't going to be as cheap as I'd hoped - so more saving required!0 -

Oh no! That's sad, could you not double barrell it for work? xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -

Erm...My excuse is I work hard, work through lunches, work late, work on my days off - so occasionally I sneak on here whilst waiting for systems stuff to load etc... Got loads to get through today so I'll be disappearing off soon.

Nooo, I have thought about double-barrelling but my last name and OH's last name are both one syllable names and I think that sounds really bad double-barrelled. I will probably just end up being called "Mrs *new name*" by the kids, but retaining maiden name for official things and email address and stuff. Boo0
