forgot to say we spent Xmas and New Year in Holland with his family, on New Year's Day, the BF, his brother, his brothers girlfriend and me were having breakfast and his dad came out with if we got married (both couples) in 2012 he would pay for both weddings (what an offer! lol) the boys said they would rather have the money (this was translated via the bro's gf!) we were a bit disappointed... still... 8 months left in the year!

Wow I've been trying to read and catch up and boy do ya love to chat!! I love it!

Thanks so much to everyone replying it's nice to know you don't feel alone and everyone is so lovely in their replies!!

I'm so bad with names but whoever said about me giving a lot of hints ha ha soooo true!! I felt like all I talked about was it but he is so "intelligent" yet not people clever so hinting anything to him is almost impossible I have to say things straight out and I didn't want to say it...welluntil I cracked while we were away! lol!!

I'm so excited for those going away I hope you all have a wonderful time and i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for ya!! I have a feeling there'll be so many proposals on Valentines day this year....I think the guys might be too frightened that if they don't the girls will be doing it on the 29th Feb!! lol!! Plus it seems like theres a lot of love in the air at the moment... it may also be I've a thing about the number 13 but maybe people wouldn't want to propose in 2013...(may just be me though I really hate that number lol have since I was little can't even sit in the cinema in that seat!!)

Hope you're all ok!! Gonna go and read as much as I can now gonna have to read daily to keep up it seems!! he he!

Seems like I might be the only Northerner on here!!!

Just read that article on rings - its ridiculous isnt it!! I'd never expect OH to fork out a months salary for a ring! If he wanted to he could but I'd never expect it..

I was talking about rings in general to a girl in work - she's very young and very high maintenance and when I said if I get engaged, Im not even worried about a ring, she almost choked and said that she would HAVE to have a ring and she wouldnt accept anything less than about 3 months salary!!

I was speechless.....think she has a lot of growing up to do first!!!
