All the rings are beautiful. The one is from Ernest Jones too.

Just sneaking on to say that OH said tonight that if we won competition like don't tell the bride he would marry me straight away! I think he is calling my bluff - maybe I should enter :rotfl:

They are the type of rings I like but OH hates rings like that so I will compromise.

jtr, don't worry, I'm sure he will do it! All the rings are beautiful. I love the amethyst ones but OH seems to like really simple diamond rings. Is it wrong that I'm already worrying that I won't like the ring he gets me?! even though I know actually I'll just be happy even if it's a haribo ring! lol!

I felt a bit miserable last night because OH and I watched Vicky Christina Barcelona, and one of the girls is engaged and wears an absolutely giant rock on her finger...I commented on it and OH said something inane like "ah well some girls get engagement rings don't they", in a kind of "...but YOU never will!" sort of way.

And then later on when the engaged girl slept with someone else he said something like "so THAT'S how women behave when they get engaged, best not to do it"

findingmyownway...he is not a cruel person so I'm sure he was joking - but it's still mean because as far as I'm concerned it's not a joking matter!

You are very tolerant.....his behaviour would have got one of 2 reactions from me (depending on the mood)

    a) In silence walk upstairs and read my book and not talk to him for at least 2 hours.

    b) Or a wack round the head with a cushion and I'd go to the pub or round my brothers.

but that is because I am very mature!!!

My bf called me a 'good wifey' the other day and I told him to never use that word and he is only allowed to call me his wife when I actually am his wife!
