I'm from down south (Southampton) :(

I am Southwest. Love it here because everything is more relaxed and chilled I would never move back up North for all the money in the world!

Another one down South...close to London here. All those of you who say you actually SAY to your OH "I want a nice ring" etc...I wouldn't dream of doing that! I'd be way too scared! I don't want him to feel nagged or hassled or he might never do it. sigh....stupid men.

My OH would never let me nag him into getting married, not sure if that is a good thing or not :rotfl:

I used to live just North of London.

    P.s. I don't say it very often ;)

I'm north of London :) we are starting to acknowledge things a BIT more...like, I told OH not to get me a Valentine's present because "I know you're saving up for something else" and he agreed...

I will often say "something sparkly" which I think he knows is code for "AN ENGAGEMENT RING". Actually come to think of it, I just assume he understands lots of my wedding code. Maybe he doesn't and is wandering around all oblivious!

more subtle or more blatantly obvious?! in other news, it just dawned on me if he DOES do it on this surprise romantic Valentine's getaway...I could be an engaged woman this time next week! Except...he is not going to do it then. Don't get hopes up, don't get hopes up...
