Hi everyone
Hope you are all enjoying the sun! So any new engagements? If not why not?! Me and the boy are back together, taking each day as it comes and not trying to plan the future too much. I am moving jobs in a couple of weeks so we won't be working together any more which will be weird but definitely needed.
I plan to start saving for a surprise trip to South Africa next year for his 30th birthday, will be a pricey trip but he will love itsurely that warrants a ring right! hahahahahahaha
big hugs to everyone! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -

Hi
I've been posting on the main page, as we are already planning the wedding, but I had to comment about this.
Essentially, we both know we are getting married, we have a date, booked to go see some venues, so acting as though already engaged although not had a proposal.
I saw a ring on ebay (on a very tight budget, so this seemed a good option), 0.25 carat diamond solataire, exactly what H2B had planned on buying me, so we bought it. This was last SUnday. The ring arrived at my Glasgow address on the Thursday, so my parents were brining it with them when they visited at the weekend (not knowing what it was).
H2B wanted to ask my dad first, as my family are fairly traditional, so on Sunday, I took my mum to the shops for a bit, and when I came back, he gave me the thumbs up.
I was totally sure that he was going to propose at some point during the day, and get increasingly excited as the day wore on. Bed time came and I realised it wasn't happening, and I burst in to tears.
He was really upset, and didn't know what was wrong until I explained how there were so many indications that it was going to be that day (not listed them all here, would take forever) and I was just really disappointed. Anyway, through talking about it together, I worked out that it was going to happen when we are next in Glasgow (probably on the 11th August), and he has said that it will be on the Saturday, as he doesn't want me getting in such a state again.
This makes so much sense, we are going out with the friends that brought us together in the first place. He also told me I could make plans for Sunday and Monday of that weekend.
So, definitely happening, just need to get through the next two weeks!Saving for wedding 25 August 2013£1,090/£6,000Wedding Diet7lbs lost , 33lbs to go0 -

Ally I will be here for a REALLY long time - but (I was about to say) I don't care any more - who the hell am I kidding - I read this forum every day and the baby threads on the couples board - I do care - really care but I have given up - I know it's not going to happen any time soon - 2 years on the 14th of August - doing nothing for it, he's already had his anniversary present and I wonder if he will remember me?!
Anywhooo
Made 25 wedding invites for a friend, got 15 christening invites to make (I am a crafter in my spare time!) which makes me a bit sad but one day aye ladies!
