minerva congratulations on your engagement!!! your ring is beautiful I am really happy for you - have you thought about when you are looking to get married? I looked at my first venue on Saturday and Im hoping to view some others this weekend too.

This is where all the fun starts with actually planning your wedding (If your anything like me its probably planned - just a case of booking it!!)

I'm very jealous as I still dont have one nor am I officially engaged! Despite the fact all our family and friends know! I know it shouldn't really matter as we are still getting married - its all booked, but I'd love something sparkly!

We are off on holibobs Sunday and after thinking he was going to do it in the Maldives last year he would be a fool not to do it there this year....mind you,, we are going via Dubai

No date as yet but we're looking at spring/summer 2014 as we're going travelling in September and won't come back until May next year but didn't want to get married beforehand, and then we want time to do all the planning. I'm going to email some venues this week - we've said we'd like to get married in York as it's where we met, so now it's just a case of finding places that are nice and big enough and have availability - about viewings before we go away though, as that's the one thing I'd ideally like to get sorted before we went away.
