Welcome megc! I am the same secretly reading stuff about weddings and I love planning-I know when we get engaged (hopefully in a few weeks!!!) that I will be doing most of the preparation!
rdchick that is a lovely thought by your bf!
Lots of general talk about weddings today with me and my bf-we went out to lunch and even though I brought up the subject, he seemed happy to discuss things and even said a while back that summer 2014 would be a good time to get married. Am I getting ahead of myself? Maybe, but I can't help feeling excited...0 -

He still managed to surprise me, even though I knew the date. I had filled Saturday up with loads of things, but he said he wanted to get all the family together for a walk with everyone's dogs (between us all we have 6 cavalier spaniels). So I turn up an hour later than planned, my mum, dad, sister, BIL, MIL2B & BIL2B all there, and we had a great walk, but H2B didn't really walk with me, and I didn't think anything of it. We ended up under a canopy of trees, throwing pine cones for the dogs. When he said my name. I turned and he hit down on one knee and asked
his mum then produced a bottle of champagne which she had carried the whole walk, and plastic champagne glasses!
It was absolutely perfect, and lovely that all those close to us could be there, apparently that took some work!Saving for wedding 25 August 2013£1,090/£6,000Wedding Diet7lbs lost , 33lbs to go0 -
